retail therapy.

WENT OUT WITH DEE AND VALSOH ON SATURDAY :DDDDDDDDD
after not seeing dee since sectwo of course it was pretty exciting! We had a fun time looking for each other all around lido, eating at mos and well shopping and just walking around at wheelock and wisma :) I still seriously think dee has grown even taller despite her claims of growing only zero point something cm because now she's towering over moose and I. Mooses aren't exactly very tall anyway! So after spending a simple afternoon with two simply innocent/ innocently simple mooses, dee is no longer befuddled by our Willette Syndrome code names and now she has a code name too! Too bad we couldn't stay out longer 'coz we'd probably have lots and lots more fun. Oh well. There's always december, and that isn't a very long wait! :)


Hoho at last every single FAM stuff is settled! :) went on a one-and-half-day shopping spree with mummy yesterday and today to shop! (because daddy's overseas now eheh)
UM.
Unless you're skinny don't try buying stuff from those individual dress shops at vivo or actually anywhere else, because you'll leave the shops feeling extremely fat and disgusted with yourself for actually thinking you could fit into a party dress.
BUT!
After trying on a couple of superb dresses at tangs we decided that we should get this super super super nice golden one but they didn't have my size at that branch so we went off grumbling for I think the rest of the night, even right before going to bed.



Today we had more luck 'coz we managed to buy that wonderful dress and couple of accessories to match it, and shoes, all at orchard even though I'm getting rather sick of that place after going there for about 5 times a week every week?!?!?!?! We had lunch at this small little japanese seafood grill stall that sells all sorts of um grilled seafood as the name implies. I LOVE SALMON because i don't eat any other type of fish because they all have nasty disgusting BONES. So mom got some clothes and bling she wanted, and I got my FAM stuff, so we both braved the rain back to the ulu malu parking place by sheltering ourselves with feeble paper plastic bags BUT feeling extremely satisfied because RETAIL THERAPY REALLY WORKS OUT WHEN YOU ACTUALLY BUY SOMETHING. :)

AND I SAW AHEM AHEM AHEM AHEM in a dress in last year's fam photo so I WIN AT LIFE :)




oh gawsh I hope it all works out. I hope it doesn't go down the drain 'coz if it does then there isn't any other way. no other way.

a day in the sun.

TOTALLY SHACKED from the past two days.
Yesterday's higher chinese prelim was, i suspect, set to kill us. Seriously. It was so freaking hard and to top it all off the fan kept blasting around at the back of the hall, leaving the bunch of us 401 and some 403 people to freeze like fish in the supermarket.

Sometimes I wonder why I study for chinese?

I mean, in primary school, it was so studyable, you could memorize chunks of wonderful phrases from model composition books and still get close to full marks for your compo.

I think chinese made my memory alot better than it would've been if I'd just taken only english or something. I memorised everything, from zao ju to wan cheng ju zi to compo phrases and ways to answer compre questions. It's weird how chinese and english used to be exact opposites, you didn't have to study english at all and still do considerably well :D

EEEEEEEEEKS alright so I confess that I only started liking chinese because of my primary one and primary five/six chinese teachers. Shouldn't be using teachers as excuses, BUT it does make a world of difference when you get a good teacher..... how else did I learn chinese and han yu pin yin in like three months? :D I was chinese-illiterate until primary one when I was saved man. Hahaha.

And sadly this octEopus has very strange and rather negative connations to Chinese. Boring lessons. Teacher whipping out long wooden ruler (i got two hard slaps by my teacher during HAO3 GONG1 MIN2 lesson in pri2 for fixing my mechanical pencil during lesson...). Getting punished in kindergarten because I couldn't read chi and han yu pin yin all the time. Never getting full marks for ting xie. i was that desperate to get a sticker from this teacher I really, really, really, really, really, really liked. B)
SINGING THOSE LITTLE CHILDREN CHINESE KARAOKE SONGS WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE BLAZES I WAS SINGING!
Oh and because mummy let me learn dang1 wo3 men2 zai4 yi1 qi3 (the more we get together) in K1 or something, every day after singing the english songs for like two hours i'd obediently go and sing the chinese ones too. Then I listen to how the little kids in the karaoke vids (who don't have the best pronounciation in the world) pronounce the words and just follow. BUT THAT WAS CUTE :D I learnt alot of chinese songs that way and it works. Except that I pronounced hua as WA for about three years >:D

but wait!

I SHALL DO MY higher CHINESE PROPERLY FOR THE SAKE OF MY CHINESE SONGS :)

So I'm feeling rather random and extremely tired and dizzy because of all the blowing and sneezing and snotting like a hippo on drugs due to a terrible horrible and vegetable irritating sinus problem which prevented me from doing anything else besides sleeping and feeling gross for three hours in the afternoon.

MLB! :)

am feeling extremely uhuhum contented and happy at this very moment now :)

because the past few days have been rather boring and extremely monotonous it gets alot easier to get upset and irritable. BUT today was so much funfunfunfun because of netcarn and cheersquad and MLB!

Although our class didn't exactly win anything or got any position for net carn this year, at least we don't suck and we're pretty cool in that we didn't get last place, considering that probably none of us except xinqi and kim and a very few others had practice prior to the matches today. AND OUR CHEER SQUAD YOU GUYS ARE TOTAL AWESOMENESS EVEN IF WE SORT OF SCREWED TODAY AND SORTA MEMORISED ALL THE CHEERS LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE NET CARN. Much love and kudos to shimin yitong dorcas diy farizan becca and xinwei for being super enthusiastic about the whole thing (even though it was less than 24 hours to net carn) and to poor valtan who came up with part of the formation and our Expressway cheer but couldn't come today :O we are awesome with or without shades yo!

We got totally burnt during net carn today, especially during the match between teachers and the school team which was pretty cool aside from the fact that we were ROASTED. For some reason our side was getting super high when the teachers were announcing results of net carn, probably 'coz we already knew it was completely impossible to get any position so we started crapping among ourselves, e.g. using our rather-wet-thanks-to-shimin class banner as an umbrella for about 4-5 people, going extremely crazy over the inter class karaoke competition, planning to go up and take the 1st prize even though it didn't belong to us anyway, and SHOUTING and screaming "yishijie yishijie!" like superfans for mr nuh haha! :D Well we are seasoned screamers all thanks to superband. No wonder I didn't lose my voice even though I shouted and screamed and yelled and laughed so much today :)


CLASS PARTAYE at the su korean restaurant @ fareast after netcarn! if my memory doesn't fail me i think there was quite alot of people lah- seetoh penny alexys jermaine yitong elainehneh xinqi bagua shin (WHO IS NOW A LAK CHEONG or whatever chinese sausage) shimin wil dorcas valsoh becca xinwei and me! The food was actually not that expensive as I thought at first until I saw how they kept refilling and refilling our plates of kimchi vegetables and water. I LOVE BEEF. Almost our entire table was all beef beef beef and more beef, except wilz coz she doesn't take beef. :D OUR TABLE PEOPLE WERE SO CRAZY. NO WONDER THE OTHER CLASS PEOPLE DIDN'T WANNA SIT WITH US. just kidding we're simply just too crazy for our own good. :)
what with becca dropping her chopsticks so many times I can't remember, or how dorcas thought she should test the waiter's hearing by dropping a full glass of water instead of chopsticks, or ashley being a very dao piece of bagua, or valsoh acting cute and bimbo, or the other gourmets constantly thinking of yummy yummy bubble tea filled with disgusting huge pearls, or becca teaching me how to differentiate the cutlery for raw meat and cooked meat, AND CHEXINWEI'S SPAZZZZZZZNESS. (:
the template for cxw's usual sentences are something like this:
"I'm so _____ until/that _______ !"
like how during netcarn just now that woman kept complaining she was so hot until she felt like she was going to CATCH FIRE.

anyway after all that spazzing (to the waiters' exasperation and amusement) we took a CLASS PHOTO which I shall put up here and on facebook once I find myself not lazy enough to go upstairs and bring down the cable!

wheeeeee after that wilz and I rushed off to J8 to look look see see MILUBING's qian chang hui! They impressed both of us WHICH IS SAYING SOMETHING OKAY because we are hard to impress! At first there weren't as many people as we thought, but then people started buying their album and rushing in to queue up. My second qian chang hui! :) when we got to the front we were wondering what we should say, but it went pretty nicely 'coz all three of them are such nice and sincere pro people, and we managed to get cutecute sam to sign on valsoh's autograph book :)

VALSOH YOU OWE BOTH OF US BIG TIME. BUBBLE TEA TREAT!

edit: cleared of all charges. there is nothing left to be angry about. everything's forgiven.
but i seriously need to learn abit of anger management. getting angry with my pesky cousin during chinese new year's been such a routine thing (for um let me see five years?) that i've learnt to live with it, even enjoy it. yeah it's sad but it's become an indispensible thing in my life. This year there wasn't any anger during CNY at all 'coz the family went to bandung to celebrate, and when I came back, that anger just wasn't there and there was such a horrible empty feeling.

Ohmygosh i'm turning into an angry MONSTER.

which just goes to show how impulsiveness is such a tsk thing.

dafengchui and yishijie are gonna pwn man. Right. So only one band's gonna come out on top tomorrow night, but ohwellz dfc and ysj are both superly good.
Not that the other bands aren't. :)


going to the finals tomorrow with valsoh wilz and yitong. i think the walk to mdc's gonna be WAY shorter than usual, but more tiring 'coz we'll be carrying all sorts of stuff like food and boards and banners. yitong's making one for mr nuh :D
and wilz and I have made a SUPER deal about photographs haven't we willettewee? I wonder if our dreams (literally, dreams) are going to come true tomorrow night.

Mmmmhmm so I'm probably not one of the world's deepest and contemplative bloggers around, but hey, MY LIFE = SO INTERESTING. Past few weeks in school have been pretty much the same but still fun, options options options options math math math PE and superband x1000.
and valsoh is getting nuttier as the weeks pass. WHOA OH. *poke poke*

darn it we can't book chalet for chuiguan yet because we have to wait till precisely on the 9th of October, which is kind of a pretty long way away from now, especially if you're totally on tenterhooks and worrying whether those three single leftover chalet vacancies for 9th October will be used up before we are allowed to book it. DARN IT.

tomorrow's gonna be a SUPERRRRRRRRRRGREAT day!
