1ST WEEK OF SCHOOL
I HAVE NOTHING MORE TO SAY.stress or no stress? feeling stressed but at the same time trying to keep myself from not feeling stressed too :) the first week of school didn't exactly kill me (but it almost did) but i guess it killed quite a lot of people i know. lots of people need cheering up! :D :D :D
I totally agree with willette. july will be some sort of hellish hectic roller coaster ride for alot of people, especially for the four of us gourmet people, sigh. MEPers jiayou for concert! and also there's CO concert on the 28th, which is really quite soon judging by how fast the first week of school and the lovely june hols passed.
CO concert. how come there's no chuida song? they say chaxiang is sort of like a chuida song but whatever lah, why couldn't we have gotten a chuida song (other than jiaolong which sounds pretty =_= and longwinded)? haha. Oh well at least we've got less burden on our shoulders which are already crashing down. I totally love chuiguan to bits! when wgy was calling out for votes section by section to see who didn't want to cancel duofengshou, there were hands up here and there but there were hands up EVERYWHERE from the chuiguan people! duofengshou's nice, might as well stick to it instead of cancelling it.
the thought of learning changdi again almost made me and boss faint. Another fear of screwing up the manban. screwing it up is really terrible coz the mistake would be VERY obvious 'coz instead of a nice high pitched melody there'd be loud and squeaky creaks coming out frm the zhongsuo instead.
BUT CO WAS FUN YESTERDAY WAS IT NOT? yeah fun for those sitting around boss and yongzhu. Boss was helping me peel out those little plastic reinforcing rings for me to paste on my math worksheets, and when we finally used them all up we started shredding and crumpling the paper strips into tiny pieces and slipped them down yongzhu's pinafore. then while yongzhu talked to boss blossom and jinyin threw some more paper down so it was sort of raining paper! when yongzhu got up and flapped her pinafore to make the paper come out, a whole bunch of paper started flying down like snow! after that jiaqian boss and I tried doing the same on boya right at the back! coz boss poured a whole handful of shredded paper into boya's pinafore when she got up from the area where the sheng people were sitting, there was paper scattered all over the floor (: HAPPY PAPER PARTY YALL (:
so many things to do but I just don't feel like doing much. and now paternal grandma's hospitalized and going for an op on both eyes to treat something called glaucoma before she goes blind. God bless her. my dad and aunts went back from hospital at like 2am plus and my dad woke up late for the first time in history.
so much to do! math test, jap test, chem retest, chem mole concept test thingy (think so), CO concert, rss opening cermony concert, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

ymep!
school's in!I actually posted something on sunday but that post has somewhat disappeared. hmm.
wahaha ymep today was fun as usual, and our group was quite productive compared to other sessions (: our agenda was pretty funny and there were people singing ktv very very loudly right next door, so we were sort of trying to contain our laughter when they hit high notes. not that we're good singers, but still, haha. hooray for our first song, which is nearly done after one more line of the second verse and the song arrangment! valsoh the pro sort of came up with a verse and pre chorus and chorus of the second song. Our weekly invasions into the otherwise nice and quiet little room are so super fun, at the end of every session you can see the whiteboard scribbled with all sorts of rubbish and doodles. today was a doodle of mr hideaki (with the crow feet!) and a certain *ahem* limes crossword puzzle. cheryl got writers block for the lyrics today but who cares, the rest of the song she wrote was nice! the lyrics are so corny they make my hair stand, but since love songs are kind of supposed to be corny then LET IT BE. :D yeahh power to VVC and hogs!
haha and my teeth hurt from having a slightly tighter and thicker wire for my braces. how am I supposed to eat!? hooray, 3rd lang tomorrow! this means more time to get high with baomeili and bong and cheriel (:

HAH
A LOT OF THINGS HAVE REALLY REALLY HAPPENED SINCE MY LAST POST WHICH WAS LIKE CENTURIES AGO.anyway!
last saturday mum dad and I went to stay at meritus mandarin hotel for about ONE DAY. it's really cool 'coz we got this nice room which had a sofa which was great for playing nintendo in and the bathtub rocked. actually the whole toilet was wonderfully wonderful! Then we had lunch at a rotating restaurant which was at the 39th floor i think. I'M SCARED OF HEIGHTS :S I think I saw my school from the restaurant. you can see really far out from wayyyyy up there!
seeing esplanade made me think of POTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
and the entire week was spent chiong-ing holiday homework (although we're not really supposed to have homework during june n december hols or something). BIO KILLED ME AND LIT KILLED ME LAST WEEK! but this week was quite fruitful 'coz I managed to accomplish quite a lot of long-due homework and studying! (but i haven't studied for chem ahhh die!)
right. yesterday was AH MA'S B'DAY DINNER at civil service club. i've got loads of pictures of the dinner and the crazy stuff my cousins did but oh well if you want pics go and see dear debwah's blog. I find i have absolutely no time to upload the photos 'coz I have to download some software and it takes quite a looooooong time. church today was quite fun too! yay next week the youths going out for lunch after church i think :D
PHEW. gotta go now and right all the wrongs in chem!

youth camp (:
WAHHH YOUTH CAMP AND LEADERS' RETREAT ROCKED ME UPSIDE DOWN ((:okay, so this post about camp is quite late. but anyways.
sunday, 3 june and monday, 4 june- leaders retreat! (:
leaders retreat was really something!
first reaction when i found out i was assistant leader---SHOCK :-O
abel and I were bored in the afternoon and we started giving everyone a raise in status as well as AGE. grandpas grandmas grandaunties kungfu masters and veterans flying everywhere!
we stared at the pile of snacks and drinks on the table in the chalet,
and voila,
THE BIRTH OF AILOOT!
root beer+ aunty aileen (the super zi-high funny sweet dear camp manager-ess!) = AILOOT
Pretty soon we got down to business and started naming all the other snacks like fruit plus and SUNsweet prunes after aunty aileen and uncle sunny. Sunny+7up= SUNNY SIDE UP (:

The messages were really good and helped me learn alot about leadership, and the night-time shopping trip was great too! The leaders+rev ho+uncle chang (CHANG BEER!)+ aunty joanna+aunty AILOOT+ uncle sunny had dinner at white sands food court. The crazy people kevin elaine and cliffton made us go mad with an incredibly difficult EASY question. In the end dong xing debbo and pris got it and abel and I were left there to feel all stumped and emptied of whatsoever brain juice left in our brains. GRRRRRR MATHS
oh and throughout the car ride back to the chalet, elaine deb pris and I were squashed up at the back side reminiscing the good ol times where there was PEEWEE, while watching barney on a small tv inside someone else's car. Then we practically tortured cliffton and ailoot with our horrible opera singing coz we were POTO HIGH, especially elaine and I (having watched POTO twice!!). AH I MISS MY POTO CD WHICH IS CURRENTLY WITH MY AUNT!
oh and that night,
I learnt that sleeping with aunty ailoot is totally a whole new experience for a suaku person like me! we slept in the same room on the first night!
second day of leaders retreat was fun too, but after the dinner and shopping I went home to get some medicine and rest coz I had my stupid nose bugging me throughout the entire previous night and half of the morning.
but still, YOUTH LEADERS' RETREAT IS LOVE

youthcamp- 1st day, tues 5th june
our group's name is HUNNYSTARS, with leader kevin, ALs debwah and i, members: darren xingwei wanxin jane. yeahhh man we so rock! After morning message and discussion ALL the groups were playing games and we had to come up with infinitely stupid but funny forfeits for people to do. darren ended up doing an advert for ailoot (actually it's mug root beer).

HUNNYSTARS is the love! we were last for the ice cube game, but we slowly managed to catch up for the tongue twister game! haha the ice cube game was super wet and cold and fun coz we all had to rub ice on each others' body parts until the ice cubes melted! darren rubbed the ice so vigorously on my cheek until it went numb after that (: but nothing compares to rubbing ice on his forehead and debwah's NOSE!
yup after that had outdoor games- captain's ball! HUNNYSTARS THE CHAMPS! but I guess that's coz we have so many highly athletic people in our group- kevin, xingwei and darren. (:
the night message!
HMM oh well I admit it was really hard for me and many others to stay awake during the night message but the worst thing was that I was sitting in front so I was trying really hard to pay attention. good thing I managed to take notes, but halfway through I sort of nodded off for a few seconds and when deb suddenly jerked back her chair I jolted awake and it was super funny! oops, better get a good nights sleep before camp!

the night games was amazing-race style and very fast-paced and exciting some more! At first our group got stuck and by the time we rushed back panting with only our first sticker, the other groups ESPECIALLY NEO TENSHI had collected five or six stickers already! rush rush rush but in the end, after two (road)blocks we raced back and clinched 1st place! yeahhh man!
the second day was fun too, especially the photo hunt in the afternoon which was held at downtown east! SUPER FUNNY PICS!!!

we did quite well for the photo hunt, second place!
THIRD DAY. thurs 7 june.
the entire day was mostly spent brainstorming ideas, scriptwriting and rehearsing for our skit. HUNNYSTARS SKIT! featuring a christian pig adam (me), a wordly pai kiah pig steve (xingwei), the narrator (debwah) prince chiangbi/ magic mirror on the chiangbi (kevin) and THE BIG BAD WOLF (darren) and the HUNNYPUFF gals (jane+wanxin)
our skit turned out pretty good, it's basically a parody of the three little pigs+snow white+cinderella+ the camp messages and camp theme verse all rolled up into one super skit!
the funniest one was the chiobu part where kevin and xingwei had to do some waltzing and some lovey dovey actions!

HMMS in the end HUNNYSTARS got overall second place! that makes us second best and second last, right smack in the middle! (: neo tenshi got third and the black horses WUMINGDAO got champion! hah congrats to abel and pris. especially pris coz first time her group got champion after two consecutive years of last place (:
sharing and testimonial time was also really meaningful, like all the the leaders and assisstant leaders shared+ darren (who got arrowed by us) + cliffton + loads of the adults.

yup all in all this was the best youth camp (and church camp) I've ever been part of, although didn't manage to get a single piece of work done that week (and the previous week too coz I was stomach flu-ing the whole of the first week of june hols), I really learnt so much from the leaders retreat as well as the camp. and loads of very inspiring people like the leaders dong xing kevin and abel, and fellow ALs! elaine pris and deb! THANKS to all the adults- rev ho, sa peh, aunty joanna (the food person!), mum, uncle chang (STILL CHANG BEER!), uncle jia siang and of course AILOOT AND SUNNY SIDE UP! and all the leaders cliffton elaine dongxing priscilla abel deborah kevin and all the campers for all the effort and late nights!
to the dear HUNNYSTARS- you guys were the best! HUNNYSTARS IS LOOT!
and to the leaders and ALs- hope we can stay HIGH in the crazy zi high way and also spiritually and jiayou jiayou jiayou! thanks for everything! AI LOOT YALL!

HELLO!ahaha i suppose some of you'd be surprised that im not in wales right now. oh well that's coz about four to five hours before I was supposed to check in, my mum and I had some really bad stomach virus attack. was actually quite hilarious if you think abourrit, coz my mum and I were both taking turns to throw up in the sink. But it was baaaaaaaad baaaad bad. I got high fever and everything and mum got hospitalized on Sunday night.
BUT WE'RE ALL OKAYY NOW (:
I guess there's always another chance to go to Wales, even though it'd probably be like 10 to 20 years later the next time I ever get to set even one foot out of s'pore. **growls at valsoh whos going to america later this month** There are lots of other nice stuff I could do back here anyway! (: CHURCH CAMP AHHHH I GET TO GO THIS TIME!
oh and thanks y'all for your well wishes and prayers and everything, especially my ahma who took care of us and even stayed overnight at my place. lol. can't do without a grandmama! and thanks willette dorcas n valsoh too (:
too lazy to blog about anything else actually. the past few days have been kind of a mixture of hell and heaven. lost more than 2kg after eating almost nothing on sunday and monday, and eating really little the past few days too. hooray for losing weight! Everyone's getting sick these days :[
OH YEAH today stepped out of the house to a shopping mall for the first time in almost a week! Went to watch Shrek 3 with yiying, and we got quite a bit of (window) shopping done too. It was quite a last-minute decision to go watch shrek 3 so we didn't manage to call up leng and baofang in time. sorraye! (:
