HIATUS?

hmhmm. most of the blogs i've been surfing recently are all on HIATUS, blah. and that sort of includes mine.

OH YES AND OF COURSE YMEP WAS SUPER FUN TODAY! the first session of our arrangement module, and the bunch of us ended up drawing mutated sheeps and flashing penguins and weird stuff on the whiteboard! <3

hmmmmmm. i think i shall go on hiatus! until I feel like blogging amidst all the crazy mugging and chionging. But you can bet i won't be blogging until this friday's over, after SS PT. grrrrrrr.

gah, multi-tasking really isn't my thing! i'm in the middle of blogging + calling people + drinking my grandmama's chicken soup + arranging lists of all sorts + DOING CHEM FIRE HOMEWORK.
aiyoh, aiyoh, aiyoh, aiyoh.
math. one day I WILL conquer you, i will. even if it takes forever. i'm not going to be afraid of you, i'm not going to get all hot and bothered over you, i'm going to CONQUER you.

well, miracles do happen.

sometimes I wish I lived in a farm, or high up on some snow-capped mountain. And i'd stay up there and hibernate until the EOYs are over, until someone comes and says "OH THE MATH SYLLABUS IS GOING TO BE MUCH, MUCH, MUCH EASIER." Then I would be the first hibernating ocTEOpus in the world and I'd earn loads of money from people all over the world who flock in to take photographs of me hibernating. I'd become a rich tai-tai octopus and I'd never have to worry about EOYs ever, ever, again. What a lovely story :)

BACK TO REALITY (: i should quote dorcas! i'm busy, but not stressed! :P i think very few people have seen me really, really stressed out, and it was BAD. hohoho yay phone calls and lists all done! *GRINS WHILE HOLDING UP MY BENDY HITCHIKER'S THUMB* mugging and project and busy time again! toodles!

busy week as usual.
yesterday's OVER. math, thought i'd just let you know that although you've probably won this time round, i'm still glad that I tried. I WILL CONQUER YOU ONE DAY, JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE. >: [

lunch with ziyi at pizza hut yesterday afternoon was nice! We spent one whole hour talking and eating pasta and pizza really really slowly! But ah well it was fruitful in a way, 'coz we talked about some issues which I normally wouldn't discuss with many people. (:
*smirks at someone who LICKED her cheese-covered plate and got laughed at by two waitresses*
BUT AH YES YESTERDAY WAS NICE, I GUESS. after math you could see everyone's facial expressions was a mixture of sadness and frustration and total sianness. I will not cry over an exam paper. I will not. (unless it's lit/english/SS paper luh) And the sianness continued during English, which was rather strange but very meaningful lesson too heh. career guidance. dorcas willette valsoh xinqi and I were asking each other what we were naturally good at, and it went something like this:

willette: EH PEOPLE PLS HELP LEH. what am I good at?
almost all of us: counselling lor! really what!
*willette starts writing on the questionnaire-like booklet on career which the teacher gave us.*
dorcas: EH YA ME ALSO! quick tell me wad i'm good at!
valsoh, willette, me: BEING BOSS. really really IT'S TRUE LEH BOSS!

yeah dorcas WHO WAS BOSS FOR BIO PT AND MATH PT AND MOST OF OUR GROUP WORK HUH? (:

without gourmet people (and xinqi! and rebecca wang!) I probably wouldn't be able to survive lessons such as chem and math and CAREER GUIDANCE. My driving force to stay awake! <3
our class has rubik's cube fever, I think waiian must have started it because many people in 301 are starting to get pretty interested in the cube! I actually went to toys r us yesterday to buy myself and farizan a cube each! There were 5x5 and 4x4 cubes, and a cool electronic 3x3 cube too! but that's much too expensive.
And after going to toys r us, I realised how much I WANT SO MANY THINGS! some of which are kind of WAY PAST MY AGE.
i want those cool Ben 10 action figures! upgrade and heatblast and grey matter are so cool! erps.
i want that duskull pokemon plushie!
i want that talking mewtwo!
i want that huuuuuuge (and expensive, sigh) pokemon playset thingy!
i want that talking deoxys too!
i want that croagunk toy that pops out of its pokeball!
i want those regice, latias and milotic small figures!
i want the electronic rubiks cube.
i want those spongebob party hats!
and the last one is definitely NOT past my age okay.
I WANT A NINTENDO Wii! PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE?
Esther (Lim!) you better watch out 'coz I'm flying over to your house after EOYs to play Pokemon Battle Revolution and ogle at your Wii for the rest of the day, and bring along my Diamond so maybe I can transfer pokemon into my game, woot! I don't care if you live in yishun, 'coz i'm willing to go anywhere to play a Wii! heehee. AND THEN after playing Wii we go on the crazy boss rampage! but in this case it's a crazy esther's house rampage! :)

Note to self: save up to buy a Wii!

and now I should really try and finish up the second part of homeostasis which I still haven't completed. toodles. ((((((:

I LOVE OZZY-MOZZY (:
my lovely new gaosuo! Went to karl heng with mum to buy it yesterday! i love how it shines and how it doesn't STINK and grow those powdery white fungi like the school ones!
Thankyou OSS for helping me with deciding on buying my gaosuo! heehee.
ozzy is a nice name. and ozzy's great 'cos it's so much easier to blow!

now all the zhongsuos have names too! wenting's is called shiny cos she polishes the horn until it shines like mad, you can see your face in it i think. and jiaqian's is wenting for some weird reason, mine is good ol' morpeng, who's still smelly and broken (but very playable) and cute and dented as ever! brenda used koyak but it's now chucked at the suona table in the storeroom! we found a much better zhongsuo for brenda which was once used by jiali i think, and today it finally got a name! BVT aka beefytea!
we're just weird. heehee.

OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN last night I was totally freaking myself out to tears. rawr.
The reason i'm blogging at such a weird time (one night before math test!) is 'coz i'm trying to take a breather from one hour of memorizing formulas and looking through worksheets and trying to understand stuff. So i guess it's back to more mugging for now!

MAF '07!

the awesome photo of the pass-the-water game! and thanks to kweky for the photo btw!

I shall start with a simple sentence!
Tying water bombs is very character-building and BODY-BUILDING!
Mass games comm 2, you ROCK! Well done jass jiahe willie kaikiat and wangchi! (aka wang!)!! Yeap we spent hours and hours under the sun tying almost 2000+ water bombs, and those were gone within five minutes or so? (: I'll miss all the pailing, splashing, willie's lameness when tying water bombs, and kaikiat chasing poor dajiejies like jass up and down the terraces with a little plastic-bag improvised sprinkler! Tying is fun and highly addictive, and i must say i really enjoyed it even though I got a nice tan on my legs, sunburnt on my nose, thighs, knee and feet! OMG my feet look like zebra's stripes 'coz I wore sandals, so there's a VERY obvious reddish-brown streak across both feet which are nasty sunburns!

I LOVE THE WALKIE! Walkie-talkies are the best invention in the world! (: Okay so jass confiscated the walkie from willie and I, but hey it's called LEARNING THROUGH EXPERIENCE OKAY! When willette and limyang called for chuiguan SLs to go up to the room to meet them, wangchi and I were like "oh no prepare for a scolding, lol!" Why is chuiguan always so luan huh? hmmmm.
Wang and I impersonated willie when benny was calling for him on the walkie! heehee benny didn't even wonder why willie's voice changed until become super high-pitched and gay! heehee. Must award kaikiat for being the most hardworking person, he stayed at the garage tying water bombs the entire time! Meanwhile jass willie wang and I went off for xiaozu, jiahe went off for a short while and so there was only kaikiat there with the secfour seniors!

Oh and after xiaozu was super funny! A couple of mass games 1 people (zhikan, amelia, yuyue, dorcas) and chewlin came over to help out with the tying and moving of water bombs, and this whole bunch of naughty secfour seniors came and um WASTED loads of our water bombs! haha but it was fun watching them. Thanks to them we got wet like every few minutes? lol! After that the mass games 1 people and chewlin left, so there was willie jass kaikiat jiahe wangchi zhikan and I tying water bombs at the right field! The wind was blowing this bunch of mega-sized storm clouds around in the sky, and we were all super scared that it'd rain! (I prayed four times for no rain!) Zhikan and Willie were like doing weather forecasting, and everyone was looking at the wind direction! zhikan's favourite phrase, "I studied weather patterns!" LOL.
Thank God there was abit of light rain which scared all of us, but other than that everything went pretty well for our game and the FFA!

AHA, FFA. OWSONGSIM YOU ARE GOING TO PAY ONE DAY HUH! pail me so many times, until both my ears became blocked! (: and pail bobo so many times also! But yeah bobo's expression when she gets pailed is priceless! The secfours also came and pailed me, then there was some random guy who went "Hi chuiguan SL!" and completely pailed me! (: Went around having fun spraying jiaqian, brenda, stacey, wenyun, amanda, jinyu, amelia, chengchen, the PRC scholar in my bio class (forgot your name, sorry!), and yingbao, with my dear ol' nike bottle!
Willette and dorcas both got soaked by my hands, and with help from songsim who pailed me when the three of us were sort of huddling together! (: Hooray for saravan and saravan! *smirks at wil and dorcas* [VALSOH IF YOU WERE THERE, YOU'D BE WET TOO! WHO ASK YOU JOIN GUIDES INSTEAD OF CO NYEHHEHEH]

And thanks to wenhao for going right down to the drain to help pick up plastic bags and sponges! You are muchly appreciated by mass games comm 2! (: And thanks to zhiyi too for helping to um chase away most of the people who persisted on filling more pails when time was up!
*wenhao, go bathe NOW before we all come and pail you!
A HUUUUGE THANKYOU TO CHEWLIN AND MASS GAME 1 COMM! zhikan, dorcas, yuyue, nicole, dewei, joshua and amelia for helping us mass game 2 people with the tying and pails and spraying water at people during the first game, haha! (:

FINALE! (: it was so sweeeeeet! yup and thankyou jiahe for the cute tofu, willie for the stupid picture heheh and of course wangchi for the supersuper cute pink octopus plushie and hanging boy thing! I now have two cute octopuses on my bed to hug in addition to jirachi , lugia, lobster, grey doggy and the ikea snake! my bed's super crowded. BUT YEAH wang hope you like the stressball, its for you to bounce and squeeze till your stress and emo-ness all bounces awayyyy!

teachers' day! AND GOURMET OUTING (:

yay, the holidays.
yeah righhhhhhht. (:
BUT ANYWAY, had buckets and buckets of fun this week!! especially with yet another gourmet outing! a list of gourmet outings!

#1- SKETCHES! but valsoh didn't go, argh. (: it's still considered a GOURMET outing valsoh!
#2- FISH&CO! most of us still suffering from the repercussions of the nasty bill though xD
#3- BUDGET GOURMET HUNT @ MACS. i ate a receipt!
#4- BUFFET! lala. at church anniversary last week!
#5- BURGER KING! see how mad we are?? (:

the fifth gourmet hunt! on thursday after CO and valsoh's cooking we chiong-ed off to orchard cineleisure to watch a movie! valsoh left her file in the xianyue classroom and she chionged back to school to retrieve it while wil dorcas and i stood there eating brownies and meringue at the traffic light. imagine how stupid we looked there, three schoolgirls feasting while waiting to cross the road! ;) we were all falling on each other like bowling pins in the bus xD
originally we wanted to watch ratatouille, but we couldn't use the free tickets to watch it we decided on HAIRSPRAY instead! so we chionged dinner at BK, found a barney cushion on one of the empty seats and chionged back up to the cinema!

I think i tortured willette in the cinema. but hey ITS FUN SITTING NEXT TO ME OKAY. i'm so ego. we ate brownies and more meringue in the cinema, and the songs were super nice and dorcas and I started trying to figure out the lyrics by reading the chinese subtitles! valsoh's sweater saved me from frostbite. AHHH FUN FUN FUN! left us laughing after we left the cinema! and there were these bunch of funny people sitting next to valsoh, and they actually took off their shoes and socks and propped their feet up on the seats in front 'cos there weren't anyone sitting in front of us!
then we reached the MRT station quite late and gave willette a HUUUUUUGE farewell when she went up the train xD
thanks to the fgh- fantastic gourmet hunters- for the superb outing! and of course valsoh's tickets! THANKYOU VALSOH DEAR :D


the next teachers day!
ACES was a muddy, wet and grassy affair. when we jumped for the high impact dance there was grass all over my legs, right up to the knees.
And CHUA SHI MIN the emcee for teachers' day concert! our whole class almost died of laughter. HEEHEE and miss pang won the award for miss thirsty, thanks to the votes of 301! And the brothers of laffles academy gave us ages and ages of laughter. why mr ang didn't act huh! SUPER FUNNY (: i think the script was really good (and sick too hoho, thats precisely why it's so good) and the male teachers, hmhmm SOME OF THEM ARE REALLY, REALLY, REALLY GOOD ACTORS.

and after survey, wil dorcas valsoh and I went on a massive hunt for teachers! We couldn't find alot of our teachers, so we'll probably pass them their little love notes when school reopens. BUT WE HAD SO MANY SPARE APPLES! we ended up giving them to teachers who didn't teach us at all, like we gave one to ms d o r e e n tan after bombarding her with questions about mr ang's and mrs haugen's whereabouts. then we gave ms chun her present and coincidentally, the apple matched her red blouse and specs perfectly! xD
THE WORST ONE. we were staring at the pile of apples inside valsoh's plastic bag, and we decided to give one to a random teacher we came across outside the staff room. So while valsoh was catching up with her guides senior, the three of us spotted mr lime ry a n g outside the HOD room and then dorcas suddenly shouted his name pretty loudly, and we proudly presented him with a nice wet red apple for being our sec 1 eng teacher, sec 1 philo teacher and sec 2 philo teacher. HAHAHA. mr chia's present was super funny too, 'cos his apple was a plastic one with little jellybeans inside, a small veggietales card and a note from us with veggietales lyrics written in the front and a disgusting cucumber drawing at the back. We were asking teachers in the GO for his whereabouts and suddenly while we were at the foyer we saw him and we CHIONGED there like there was no tomorrow.
and we couldn't find liu lao shi either, so dorcas and I went around giving out apples like santa claus. gave one to ms veronica, ms christina and of course mrs letch me! ;) NEVER LET ME GO haha inside joke! And dorcas saw mr larry walking by and insisted that since willette valsoh and I gave an apple to ms grace lim who was our philo teacher, she should give one to her philo teacher too.
Then there were no more apples in the plastic bag.

RSS is just weird without so many of the teachers who have retired or left. and now hardly anyone from my batch comes back, which is quite sad. but honestly there's no more teachers to visit besides a couple of old faces and my mum. BUT! it was still quite fun yesterday, met cx [OI YOU OWE ME A RIDE IN YOUR CAR xD] who came back to visit mum and also debwah who came back cos her friends wanted to come back. Heehee then had lunch with kenneth and gordon and started disturbing jonathan siow who was in a woman paradise, according to kenneth. Then kenneth, jonathan and I went around visiting teachers in the hall and helped mum pack her table which was completely loaded with presents. Even her CHAIR had presents. see, my mum's a fantastic teacher <333333
Didn't really do much visiting 'cos there wasn't anyone to visit, but had loads of fun with kenneth and a fun bunch of 6/7 '04 people! Watching jonathan and kenneth do foot drill outside the canteen was just priceless (:

FUN! but the holiday's definitely not a holiday luh, so much to do and i'm going back to school EVERYDAY. math clinic from monday to wednesday, xiaozu on thursday and HCI INTERACTION ON FRIDAY, WHEEE (: mass games comm rocks yo! we're a super fun bunch, jasselyn jiahe willie wangchi and kk! It's gonna be FUN FUN FUN and WORK WORK WORK and STRESS STRESS STRESS and AIYAH AIYAH AIYAH this holiday. HO HO HO.
