HUNNY
thank God for a good week man! and all I can say is...I love the HUNNY GANG!
I haven't really been blogging as regularly as I used to 'cos I'm kinda SIAN to blog all the time.. haha...
Sunday was probably one of the best days of this week!! Although the church was much emptier because of the taiwan trippers and some families who went on holiday (grr LUCKY PEOPLE LAH), there was still the HUNNY GANG!! schaefers came back too! haha! there was a major power failure which eventually was settled... and we didn't know that the piglet (inside joke!) was coming so after service darren and I almost choked on mee siam and noodles... strings of mee siam hanging out of my mouth like those plastic curtain-like things at mini toons.. in the end we were half-choking and explaining the whole story behind the HUNNY GANG (:
I gave hunny sticks to the hunny gang people! well, most of them I guess.
so the whole bunch of us were sucking hunny sticks and trying to guess what flavours they were and basically just had loads and loads of hunny fun. haha abel thinks that eating hunny sticks will give you sugar rush! I sure didnt get sugar rush but we all got HIGH ON HUNNY!!!
YESTERDAY went to escape with most of the seafood family- willette dorcas cheryl valsoh celine and dorcas' younger bro! We went there at about 11am... the first ride we took was YAKULT cos it was one of the milder rides. then we went into the haunted house and got all spooked out, especially valsoh celine willette dorcas and her bro who were at the back! dorcas practically closed her eyes throughout the whole thing and celine was holding on to valsoh... cheryl is BRAVE! we were both at the front and at first it wasn't that scary but when we got to a room that was in completely pitch darkness we were both frantically groping for the curtain or a door and unfortunately, the curtain was black so we couldn't tell where the curtains were! I think we must've made the workers there deaf cos we were screaming and screaming all the way. I guess it got scarier than when I went there with leng and yiying... haha.
RAINBOW WAS FUN!
on the rainbow ride we had to sit in pairs and cheryl ended up sitting next to a very small girl who kept sliding towards her during the ride. wahh willette didn't slide alot... I think I crushed willette!! haha!
after that we sat the wet and wild ride... cheryl and celine bought ponchos but were too paiseh to wear them in the end. AND NOW CHERYL YOUR PONCHO IS WITH ME! MUAHAHA!
Dorcas went on the ride first with some guy who wanted to go alone but wasn't quite allowed to until he found a partner. so there we were, cheering for dorcas in the queue and each time we heard the sound of the log thing going up the ramp, we thought it would be dorcas and the guy but dorcas only appeared after we made THREE WRONG GUESSES. those who sat at the back of each log got all soaked! all of us sat at the back except dorcas' bro, celine and cheryl lah! hmph. I sat with cheryl and got my clothes all wet! but it was fun I guess. our photo looked very spastic.

in the afternoon we played carnival games... so proud of valsoh, cheryl and celine! they all won a carnival game each! Cheryl the aiming pro won a PURPLE stuffed doggy at this ball-throwing game, and valsoh and celine won two different kinds of bears at the horse-racing games!
the horse racing game was the funniest lah.
after val soh had won a bear from the first horse racing game (thanks to our screaming and cheering haha), celine and I decided to try the game too. The guy explained that if there were 10 players the winner would win a TIED bear. it was a colourful bear with a ribbon tied around its neck and it looked kind of like marble cake with the brown chocolatey swirls... the problem was that it came out sounding like TIGHT bear... ahaha... finally the guy managed to find a tenth player and so the game began! willette dorcas and her bro make very good cheerers! they were cheering for me while cheryl and valsoh cheered for celine. in the end celine won! HAHA so mr bean got the TIGHT BEAR!
after a couple of rides it started to rain quite heavily so we went home... pretty fun day for all of us! <3>
then today went out with mom and gordon... We wanted to catch a movie so we went to marina square to shop and had a nice lunch at the food court. in the end we went to century square to watch HAPPY FEET (hooray hoooray HOORAY), and take neoprints.. thanks gordon for buying the stuff I need for OBS next year!! really helpful! (:

PIANO EXAM!
I'M FREEEEEEE! WAHOO!well, not quite.
still got performance rehearsal on 15th dec and the real thing on 18th dec (aha wang shao wei's bday!)
but who cares? I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Went for piano exam today at kawai music school at parkway... it's so conveniently situated near the toilet so I kept running in to warm up my sticky sweaty cold stiff hands with the hair dryer inside.
I discovered that I was pretty early for the exam because the little boy who was the third last candidate hadn't gone in for his turn yet. I was the last candidate.
OHO I was so super happy when I saw the examiner pop his head out of the door to ask the little boy to come in!! mr geoffrey coker!! I happened to see his cool profile last friday when I went for practice and I was keeping my fingers crossed i'd get him... and I did! WAHOO.
Then I waited and waited until my fingers got all cold and stiff even though I wasn't as nervous as before. the steward was reading a sidney sheldon book I think, haha.
yeah, after waiting some more, it was finally my turn! the examiner's very very nice! (:
so once again, like last year's post I shall blog about my piano pieces!
okay yes I seem quite behind compared to all those pro-ded buddies who've completed ABRSM diploma and everything, but here it is, i took trinity college's performance cert today!
1) Sonata in C minor, K.11/L.352 and Sonata in C major, K.515/L.255- Scarlatti
-- okok lah, miraculously I didn't make any slips in both pieces, wahoo!
2) first movement in Sonata in C minor, op. 13 (Pathetique)- Beethoven
-- okay the first movement ISN'T pathetic. it's a killer!! it killed me for so many months.. almost a whole year!! and to think I have to live with it for another year cos I'm doing the other two movements as well for ATCL.. ahhh... I made three mistakes I think.... expression was fine...
3) No. 1 of Novelletten op. 21- Schumann
-- my favourite yeah! it was okay lah... the cantabile sections went pretty well!
4) Polka- Berkeley
-- had to play this by memory instead of doing viva voce. thank God I didn't forget any parts!! (:
and at the end of the exam I got the examiner's autograph on the front of my Beethoven book! WAHOO. what a relief! now to wait for the results....... dum dum... hope I can pass!!

after piano exam went shopping at isetan (yucks no more shopping for clothes for me!), grocery shopping at cold storage. and of course I stopped by at the game shop to drool and stare and ogle longingly at the nintendo ds games!!! okay i'll get pokemon ranger for christmas then.
yay tomorrow mum and I are going down to the newly opened IKEA tampines (which is within 5 minutes drive from my house) to recce and eat breakfast and buy loads of coffee for daddy who just loves the coffee there! and then in the afternoon going to kawai again to help lishan turn page during her ATCL piano exam! jiayouuus lishan! (:
by the way I will post more about church camp tomorrow or the day after! when I have the time! bye bye!!

youth camp (:
hooray my church youth camp was lots of fun!i love my group. DAN'S ORIGINAL SHEEP OF CHRIST-with love. my ORIGINAL group consisted of eleven super ORIGINAL people- team leader daniel, assistant leader me, darren, chloe, nyx, yuenling, earl, pat jon, qixiang, aaron, jun lin. The first day was quite boring because of the rain but anyway yiying kenneth marc and I managed to amuse ourselves the entire afternoon with round after round of heart attack and truth or dare. the night games were really fun and the best thing was that it wasn't raining. and that we got to mummify our team leader. (:
On the second day yiying, mark and I met up for breakfast at burger king (we didn't stay overnight at the chalet) at eastpoint. Marc and I were the earliest and we found out that very funny things happened to yiying and kenneth. Yiying was probably so sleepy that she took the MRT train all the way to pasir ris instead of simei, and kenneth took so long to arrive even though he lived the nearest to eastpoint because he had forgotten to pee at home, and he was so urgent that he had to dash off to the community center to use the toilet there. =_=
We saw something quite disgusting at burger king... hohohoho i shan't say what but it made everyone laugh, especially kenneth the 100% sicko. We took bus 9 and 29 to netheravon road and when we alighted we caught a glimpse of old changi hospital (OCH) on top of a hill. When we reached the chalet we were a bit late for the worship and kenneth and marc were struggling to keep awake during the message! Later in the morning EMKTV was formed! actually it stands for eshton, marc, kenneth, yiying and I.. The problem was that yiying didn't have a christian name so we just called her tiffany to make things easier. so yeah. EMKTV rocks! The five of us got permission frm auntie aileen and ventured off to OCH which was within 5 minutes' walking distance. We didn't exactly go there to get scared or find ghosts cos there really isn't such thing as ghosts, but we went there partly out of boredom, curiosity and for the thrill. The moss-covered stairs leading up to OCH were so slippery and uneven that we all had to be careful when we were going up. Eshton is brave! haha. eshton and marc went in first, followed by the rest of us. We explored the outside of the place, discovered that the window panels had been smashed and went into the not-so-dark parts of the first floor. We found the creepy elevators and a dark steep stairway leading up to the 2nd floor but no one dared to go up. The place wasn't that quiet 'cos of this huge group of students that kept screaming and screaming... We stood at the main entrance for a long time deciding whether to go into the dark corridor inside but we all decided that going back to the chalet was a much safer option. After that we took dear cousin deborah along to OCH again and this time we all walked into the main entrance and went right up to the door of the dark dark corridor with eshton leading the way. Then kenneth's knees kept shaking and everyone was quite scared that we might lose our way in the dark that we went back to the chalet and never returned after that. Actually we might have gone back at night but we weren't allowed to and anyway it was too dangerous. There was a quiz in the afternoon and our group got the highest! thanks loads to chloe and darren and earl and yuen ling. The water games in the afternoon were pretty enjoyable too and I didn't know daniel has such a bimbo pink towel haha.
Since kenneth's family had gone to bukit panjang to stay kenneth stayed overnight at my place and slept in my maid's room! AND THAT WAS HOW THE HONEY STARTED. hallo wan buy honey? hur hur hur. we were playing with a very lame winnie the pooh toy set and the story goes that piglet was trying to sell pooh a pot of honey.
piglet: (in a very very low male voice) "Hallo wan buy honey?"
pooh: "Aiya dan gu gu lah!"
Hoho there are secrrrrrret meanings behind the pooh and the piglet and the donkey and the tigger and the OWL. the owl is auntie aileen *laughs manically*, the spade is deborah and the saw is pris so the rest GO FIGURE OUT YOURSELF. haha (:
the THIRD DAY was the best of all!
Marc kenneth yiying and I met up at tampines macdonald's for breakfast, then took bus 29 to the chalet again. This time kenneth and I were so tired that we fell asleep on the back of the bus and all of us were so blur and sian that we dropped off at the wrong stop and had to walk quite a long way to the chalet. After the message and discussion EMKTV went to the other bungalow to have lunch. Eshton marc and kenneth made me laugh until I cried and almost choked on my food!!! :D Everytime someone walked into the bungalow or walked out of the bungalow they would say "HALO WAN BUY HONEY"... Then when wei gin was about to enter the bungalow we greeted her with "HALO WAN BUY HONEY" and she stared at us and suddenly started doing a hip rotation dance on the grass patch! After that jordan and EMKTV (hmm JEMKTV? plus darren it would be DJEMKTV) started playing concentration... The rest of the afternoon the Dan's Original Sheep of Christ discussed the skit for special night and poor daniel wrote the whole script until his face looked like it got sunburnt.. like nyx's face...
The skit was grrreat! ours featured three different people- darren, earl and yuen ling, daniel was the ATM ("youuuu have no money. youuuu have no money. yooouuu have no money."), chloe the bank worker, jun lin the enemy, qixiang the lorry driver, nyx the psychologist, pat jon and aaron the hosts and I was DOCTOR MUTHU! (: our skit came in SECOND! hooray our effort paid off! yay yay yay I love my group! every single one of the ORIGINAL sheep of christ! haha (: DAN'S ORIGINAL SHEEP OF CHRIST (with love), EMKTV AND THE HONEY CLUB! (: YOUTH CAMP ROCKED!
