wow

Wow. I just realised that i haven't blogged for some time.
I've found out how to put videos into my blog. Well, it's about time i found out, anyway. Please feel free to click the PLAY button at the bottom of the video, it's a nice song from 5566's latest album (released on MY BIRTHDAY last august), Bai2 Se4 Hua1 Yang4. very very nice. Im hooked to the 3rd Album songs. :)
The MEP Gamelan workshop was super fun! we got to play some songs on the different instruments of the gamelan.. the gongs reminded bean and valsoh and i of cookies. Cookie!
The funniest part was the Wayang Kulit because the teacher was telling us something about the Ramayana story, and how it was performed.
"Prince Rama, and Princess Sita. They are the heroes of the Ramayana, the YIN and the YANG."
HAW HAW HAW HAW! The seafood family was laughing away because we know EXACTLY what the YIN and the YANG are. Our favourite icon is, in fact, a certain person named TEAPOT TEH YIN YANG. The teh in this teapot is very yin yang! :)
What we loved about the seafood family
Aha. What we loved about the wonderful extended (and still extending) seafood platter!
We're crazy about the "one little two little three little indian" song, and we've actually mastered the art of singing that song together! and we can't stop singing it during PE and comp studies.
Our komomo game! We'd sit together in a circle and valsoh would lead us in this wacky game of cherades. Just do what komomo always does, and you'll be fine!
Our stickiness. We've got a seafood blog ready, but we're still making some minor adjustments to it before it's open to the whole wide world. We're always sticking together in a close-knit group during learning journey and other excursions. AND WE GET TOGETHER IN MSN AND HAVE A JOLLY GOOD TIME BULLYING MUSHMAHA!
what you must know about willette is that she's changed her name. or rather, we changed it for her. First, it was willette, then mushlette, then mushmaha, then WILHELMINA, and now she's known as EVANGELINE WEE. haha.

free day

OH DARN. I have to work on the haiku for Memoirs of a Geisha... or else.. who knows, we may get booked? the thought makes me shudder. no lah, not that bad.
ha, valsoh and I are going for a date at east coast park later on. I can't wait.. ARGH!
tonight i'm going to try and accomplish A LOT. I've finished everything except the stupid haiku and both chinese assignments. and then i have to write a couple of jian3bao4 for chinese teacher. I don't read chinese newspapers! In fact my whole family is totally english educated and we don't speak chinese unless necessary, which explains why I take three months to finish reading the entire zao bao (excluding the zhong guo part)!!! And I take one hour to finish reading the whole Straits Times. :D

I LOVE BEING THE ONLY CHILD. Heh, for a bit selfish reasons lah actually. When my family orders a pizza, I get to eat half of the pizza because my parents and maid don't fancy pizza and I havent got any siblings to share the pizza with. I don't need to share my room and the best part is that I can go wild at home with just my maid and dog around.. and you can parade around at home in your underwear (i've never tried it) without letting anyone else see you... YUCK.
If you thought I'm crazy, think again. I'm MUCH crazier at home. Always driving my mum and maid and dog crazy by singing and screaming and shouting whenever i'm playing pokemon... "Ah val ah you are still so much like a baby ah?! Still playing pokeeeemon..." that's wot my mum likes to say... haha... oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIY!!! SPICEBABES LOVE YOU!

WOOHOO i'm pokelicious!
it is with deepest regret to inform you that the owner of this blog, valteo, has gone totally crazy over pokemon and can't stop downloading images of her favourite pokemon, Flygon.
I LOVE POKEMON! hmm. visit pokemon.com! They've got all the cool pokemon soundtracks including the pokerap and the theme song and also the sad sad song from the episode Pikachu's Goodbye!
OHMAN. i haven't got time to play pokemon leaf green BUT i've managed to successfully breed and evolve ALL THREE STARTING POKEMON OH MY GOSH!

the holidays.

hmmm.
let me introduce to you the super-slacker life of octopus teo!
monday.
went to school for MEP test, which was extremely difficult! WHY oh WHY in the world did I torture myself spending the whole of sunday night listening to songs 1-4 of Fraunliebe und Leben?! However the best thing that could ever happen out of this TERRIBLE experience is that my dad's rather fond of song 4, Du Ring an meinem finger! haha. honestly i loved the whole song cycle a lot! yay.
OH GOODNESS thankfully kiwi and I finished that revolting C.A.P rs proposal! We lingered for a while at the canteen after MEP test to eat wang wangs and drink milo. Kiwi and I are the wang-wang-addicts. We always eat at least TWO packets of wang wang rice crackers on tuesdays and thursdays during lunchtime. Yummy. It is a joy to devour those rice crackers with a fellow wang-wang-addict (valteo, PLEASE get a grip on yourself and CONTROL your eating habits!!! jian3fei2!!!) Then kiwi and I went up to the Knowledge Hub and met the com studs teacher, mr goh. *sniggers*. Unfortunately we digressed in between looong, detailed answers for the proposal and we googled lots of photos of m**** in a flowery, gaudy hawaiian shirt, smiling away. OH DEAR. *smirks at the thought of him in the flowery shirt*
tuesday. seafood outing cum bdae bash for valsoh
happy bdae squido! Too bad grandpa, grandma and stingray couldn't make it. It was just the five of us- celine the bean, magdaboon (MRS JOHANIS!!!), dear wife willette, squido and I. We went to watch Nanny McPhee (great show, if u havent seen it, what are you waiting for?!). The best part was how we applied bits and pieces of what we'd learnt in geog and history and NPS to make certain referances to the characters in the show, especially the woman in pink! yuck.
If you've read valsoh's blog, you'd have known that due to a lack of alertness, agility and excessive amount of puppy fat, I got stuck in between the chairs in the cinema. *LAUGHTER, PLEASE!* Then we went to pasir ris park and there was certainly a lot of hanky panky going on there...
Celine the bean and valsoh ran off to buy drinks while the rest of us stayed at the huge playground.
Mushmaha decided to make an enormous birthday cake for valsoh. Mushmaha was pouring handfuls of sand on the heaping pile on the ground, magdaboon was shrieking frantically and I was kicking large amounts of sand onto the pile. What a mess! We stuck some twig "candles" on the rather large pile of sand and sang the bdae song for celine and val when they returned.
Mushmaha and I did a renactment of our courtship days and the day I proposed to her! that crazy mushmaha was waiting with squid under a tree and I had to kneel down on the protruding roots of the tree and propose to her with a ring made from a bendy twig. =_=
bean took such a very long time to propose to valsoh! and we ended up engaged in a fierce water-and-strawberry juice fight! celine is a naughty bean.

-grandpa anemone loves grandma kiwi. but grandpa has an affair with another MAN.
-mother mushmaha loves father octeopus. father octeopus has affairs with lulu, xiaoyan and ostrich.
-son stingray is too young and hence does not know ANYTHING about love yet.
-daughter squido is fifteen and has a boyfriend named celine the BEAN.
-BEAN has a sister named magdaboon, who has a boyfriend named Johanis.
-octeopus has a younger sister named teh. mushmaha has a sister named komomo.
-bean loves komomo, but squid doesn't know.
EVERYDAY, MUSHMAHA AND OCTEOPUS FILE FOR DIVORCE BUT THEY ALWAYS END UP HAPPILY TOGETHER AGAIN.

Remembering 102

Ah. I shall dedicate this post to all of last year's 102ers!
especially the spicebabes and BALULU and last year's term 3+4 group!
I love my group man! magdaboon, me, irmelia balulu, kiwi, jamie and of coz my dear lion king xiao yan! hmm. let's start with math.
irmelia and i were never good at math. NEVER. We'd always copy all the answers to the worksheets from a very disgruntled xiaoyan or get free tuition from magdaboon (which never worked anyway). Then we would count down how many minutes left until math was over... and when the bell rang during miss ha's lesson irmelia said,
"RING, the bell RANG!"
omg! that's our trademark! after that we were going "ding the dong dang", "bing the bong bang" and whatever nonsense! but it was fun. We always made empty promises to finish those revolting algebraic equations before going for recess. I only started really mugging for math during term 4. and the mugging paid off a lot. YAY irmelia math was fun!
the most interesting of them all- Geog and History.
The two killer humans topics! ARGH! It made my blood boil to see irmelia get 14/15 for geog and high high marks for history!! and i always got 5! hmph. I was never good at history but history is more fun than geog.
There is ONE incident during geog which none of us would ever forget.
I was stuffing myself with water while miss wong was teaching about agriculture. Then suddenly miss wong said, "xiao yan, what are you doing?!!" I turned around and burst out laughing for no reason and unfortunately the water in my mouth went spraying out in different directions. Magdaboon and irmelia were soaked. and there was water on the floor too! haiz. After that miss wong pronounced me "totally mad". xiaoyan went hysterical.
On the other hand, there are COUNTLESS incidents during History which none of us would ever forget.
Having xiaoyan sitting behind you spells calamity, disaster, etc. She has the ability to make everyone around her go crazy just like her. which explains why im such a lunatic. miss tay was teaching about reliability of sources or something like that and she had to write stuff on the whiteboard. while irmelia and magdaboon and i were BEING GUAI AND COPYING THE STUFF ON THE BOARD, we heard xiaoyan laughing like crazy. So I turned around and the moment I saw her i started laughing for no reason and pretty soon everyone was laughing. The problem was that we didn't even know why we were laughing but everything just seemed so funny! We kept on laughing throughout the whole entire lesson and it was so torturing to stifle our laughter each time miss tay turned around to face the class. Haiz anyway miss tay asked us why we were laughing and we didn't know why we were laughing!! Even during the lesson after history, we were still laughing away. haha. HAHA.
oh yes. the SONG. the moment i returned to class during recess, irmelia and atiqa were like, "VALTEO DANCE WITH US!" and i asked them why in the world they were singing a whole song filled with gays and tays and days and ebays and horses. Well anyway i figured that it was a surprise teachers day song for miss tay so i was like, "NO WAY i will NOT look like a dancing fat elephant in front of the whole class and miss tay lah!"
And that is how i ended up sitting on the floor doing the silly sound effects, which included neighing like a crazy horse, auctioning miss tay and doing background singing. OH MAN!
now for english.
english was one of those lessons where you could multi-task. listen to snoopy and draw nonsensical stuff on pieces of paper at the same time. when snoopy went for reservist, we had a substitute teacher called mrs siao. the whole group loved to comment about her incredibly blonde hair and how she matched her clothes with her shoes, earrings and nail polish. One day during her lesson irmelia and i couldnt concentrate at all so we took out a piece of paper and drew all sorts of pictures of chen lulu and octopuses on them. We created the chen lulu and the causeway point cow story remember?!! omg lulu was going berserk when she saw it.
science!
I had a dream of ivan soh once and it was totally horrible. It involved vera, annie, myself, changi beach, a hut full of PITs and my dad. We called it "Ivan Soh and the Hut of Terror" and made it into a comic (which i accidentally threw away). ohohoho.
HAIZ! I LOVE 102 SO MUCH! I wish we never got seperated because life without the spicebabes and irmelia and magdaboon and chen lulu and xiaoyan is really sad!

saturday! X)

WHEE i am free from all SAs!
except for MEP. argh. Instead of playing pokemon all day I have to mug for MEP and jap today.
i want to mug for rock climbing, but i can't! i dont think i'll ever be able to conquer the rock because of the meniscal disorder ive had since a loong time ago. howww sad! (: never mind i'm still better at running (of coz lah always running on the treadmill everyday to lose weight). :D
I loved yesterday's swim carn, although it was a little boring for me. Hah the best part of swim carn is that i went out with the seafood family and i'm finally free from *******'s control. FREEDOM! We brought our food frm long johns and ate at the stadium.. and it seemed like ages before i finished eating my fish wrap coz i'd just extracted my teeth and the food either got caught in the empty holes in my gum or the blue rubber bands between my molars. ouch. i shall never eat hard food until I get my braces done.
mushmaha and stingray ditched us in the middle of the swim carn! so in the end only left salmon, kiwi, squid and I. we were walking around the whole stadium and saw something we would never ever ever ever forget. miss chen in blue swimming costume. AAAAAAAAAARGH!
i thought i was hallucinating when i saw her at the opposite side of the pool. that's probably the most fun part of swim carn. OH YEAH and I went home with chillyna and squid and we talked about a lot of 102 stuff. especially about mr konoli. i miss 102 badly :)

AHH

AHHHH. yesterday i went to extract my teeth!!!
I was studying geog while he applied some of that strawberry-flavoured numbing gum gel, but i didnt get a chance to play sudoku... haha.
And i was shivering so much when he was yanking my teeth out until my mum had to press my hands and legs down!! but i realised that the whole process is kind of painless. ?!
ahh im so busy now and im facing a a BIG social problem right now. everyone in 202 u perfectly know what im talking about!
YAY! Tomorrow will be the end of those terrible tests except for MEP test, and there's swimming carnival! It's going to be extra fun because this time, i'm going with my wonderful seafood family- kiwi, whylette, dorcas and valsoh! but den annie can't make it coz she's in house committee. ah well, it's going to be lots of fun anyway, and I wonder which teacher will be swimming this year! miss tay? nah probably not.
the lingering pain that accompanies my tooth extraction. AH. ouch. :D

i've really had ENOUGH.
our friendship is SO over.
you've been manipulating me, and i've been blindly following and obeying and obliging to whatever you want me to do.
you've talked to me about many weird things which have changed my mindset about you.
I've had absolutely enough of you, and I am deeply thankful that you have finally showed your true colours... You finally showed me the real you, the real weird self-centered girl with a serious attitude problem.
SOCIALLY INEPT. it perfectly describes you.
I'm not the best friend in RGS you used to think I was. We're not the best friends in RGS we both used to think we were.
You showed me just how you really were deep down inside.
our friendship is TOTALLY over and you jolly well know it! Since you don't appreciate having friends, since you would rather wallow in your self-centeredness and philosophies, I think that this kind of friends aren't worth making.
Because i fell out with you, I became closer to much nicer people (YAY seafood fam and michy and company!).
Now i have the courage to snap back at you whenever you try to thumb me down. Please, you know lots about quantum theories and philosophy, you're much smarter and more different than others. You feel superior to the rest of us.

But what's the use of being so incredibly smart when you don't have character at all? It's plain useless.
