just when i needed you most.

THAT'S IT MAN WILLETTEWEE I'M BLOGGING.
And this post is dedicated to gourmet, specifically willettewee, because it's just SO RELEVANT and SO TRUE and SO OBVIOUS it's like screaming, "hey look at me!" wait that's rather dumb. So here we go.

You know you're going loopy over an ahem local music talent/popularity competition when...

1) your sms inbox is flooded with things like, "no more tickets :(", or "how arh did you manage to get tickets?", or "eh help me buy mentos okay", or "ZOMG I'M JEALOUS OKAY!" yes you are jealous. wheehee :D and your email inbox is totally flooded with your good ol' photographer's attempts at professional photography >: D


2) you start becoming a portable video player with S I L V E R L I G H T and you start quoting the videos on a regular basis (regular as in REALLY regular).


3) you and your three wonderful friends team up together to buy a notebook despite being crippled by insufficient funds. And you scribble quotes from those videos (or in some cases THE ENTIRE VIDEO) into the pages of the poor notebook.


4) you start quoting the videos during PE, especially when people are trying to play floorball or trying to use the crashmats in the hall as HURDLES.


5) there's a lot of mentos on your table although you don't like eating the stuff.


6) your eyes totally light up and you start going bonkers with your friend during higherchinese B class, whenever you think you hear the teacher saying SAN YUE while going through the annoying zong he tian kong. It happened 3 times already leh.


7) you reach home at 10-11pm on monday nights.


8) you start envisioning yourself forming a band with your three friends. a band where EVERYONE wants to be the GU SHOU.


9) you and your friends all find a close affinity with a certain AHEM AHEM AHEM letter in the alphabet.


10) oh this is PERSONAL. :D you start sms-ing your friend's junior from another section, on a weekly basis (or more........). The same friend who goes bonkers with you when you think you hear your teacher saying SAN YUE yadayadayadayada during HCL. =_+


and so this is when you know you're nuts.



ANYWAY today was super fun spending i think close to EIGHT HOURS with yiying! :) going to church and then going shopping @ novena for a super long time. yay to my new-found weight loss partner/advisor! and the really small children's day treat at church was pretty hilarious because today the world discovered that a certain 3 uncles are super good actors, and that the kids were so stone that when they went up the stage to sing, all we saw was a couple of very short people fidgeting and kind of like lip synching to the aunties who were singing very very very loudly at the side. WAHA. but still, nice lah :)

STARTING FROM TOMORROW I WILL BE A GOOD GIRL AND DO TWO SETS OF HCL PAPERS SO I DON'T FEEL SO DISGUSTED BY THE COMPLETELY CLEAN STACK OF PAPERS ON MY OVERCROWDED DESK.

euphoria and elephants.

i'm supposed to sleep before midnight today because mummy is sick and i shall be a very good girl and not let mummy nag so YES I SHALL SLEEP BEFORE MIDNIGHT.
means this post'll be a short one. :D

I can promise you that Gourmet has never been the same since Monday, Sept 15.
SERIOUSLY.
This is worse than our american idol hype because our dear old dorcas does watch superband on an extremely regular basis (but less regular than MEMEMEMEMEMEEEEEEEEE). Oh no gourmet's becoming nuts. Used to be Superband hype every tuesday. now it's hype galore TWENTY FOUR SEVEN.

heehee!

that's why tomorrow I shall not go wandering about at TM after school but go home and hurryup blog about MONDAY (and the subsequent days of hype).

my mushroom (and superband) pwns!

happy sweeeet sixteenth willette wee! :) woohoo four years together in the same class, just like the other weird and crazy gourmets! We hope you enjoyed (and was thoroughly entertained) by Gourmet's painstakingly painted present and the DBSK poster and the dragon monster mask which you can now wear together with us! Two spiders and two dragon monsters. wow. I think willettewee's too smart for our attempted stealth the day before yesterday, where dorcas unfortunately took 190 together with our birthday girl and the whole time she was already highly suspicious of what we were up to :O and valsoh and I were so hungry/thirsty that we went to mosburger @ plaza sing to eat burger and drink milkshake while waiting for dorcas but in the end we had to rush down to the MRT station to meet her. Alamak then I sort of insisted on going back to valsoh's place to get the black cloth we were going to sew onto the willette's custom-made shirt. By the time we reached my place it was already 7 plus and boy was dad shocked to see us when he came home +_=

Butbutbut it was pretty fun 'coz we were busy playing random things on the piano and eating and eating and eating some more and squeeeeeeezing the little tubes of fabric paint till we had numb thumbs and WATCHING SUPERBAND VIDEOS :) gourmet's new favourite pasttime! which reminds me. valsoh has a pronounciation AND balancing problem. seriously.
1) valsoh pronounces LOIS as LOYSE. .... we were watching family guy. and hyperventilating over it. again.
2) valsoh was groping (sounds wrong zomg) about in the train while talking to us and accidentally mistook a poor innocent woman's arm for the POLE.
but i think gourmet's present turned out pretty nice don't you think! Too bad we didn't get to take a photo of the shirt because we were too busy laughing at it.

Who's got a shirt with an oddly-shaped polkadotted tie, a BEACH BALL (babe), random quotes, Edna Mode's surname and a star that has disgusting armpit hair, and truckloads of love?

NOW THIS HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL DOES! :)

hope you had fun willettewee BECAUSE WE DID! (especially the lunch @ BK which went from moderate to hyper to super hyper to extreme SOAP MODE to super nuah.) Heh heh.

Our banners for dafengchui are super amazing can. Done at most 3 hours before the whole thing started! but hooray our banners were spotted! *smirks at valsoh*

four very happy (and tired) peoples. me, chuashiMEAN, yitong and valsoh! yitong's sister makes a very good photographer.

It was super cool I tell you if I had blogged about this on Monday night I probably wouldn't be able to sleep after that. Seriously I slept at 2 that night because I couldn't stop looking at the pictures in my camera. We mustmustmustmustmust thank yuanjun for managing to get so many tickets and for being super generous to let us have them! We didn't get to sit together (coz shimin yitong and her sister were sitting with yishijie and me and moose at DFC) but we had super loads of fun before and after that! Especially admiring the pretty big houses on the way to mediacorp. ONE DAY we'll each own a house that big and invite each other over. AND if we ever want to go watch superband next time then we won't have to walk so far. :)

probably going to the roadshow this saturday! :) anyone coming along? (VALSOH I'M DRAGGING YOU THERE)

back from the ashes!

SORRY GUYS I'M BACK AT LAST :)
I have unfortunately been uh almost abusing my post-exam freedom to get away from blogging and everything. Just sitting down and facebooking, msn-ing with bao about very lame stuff and getting pwned by her in minesweeper & reversi, checking superband stuff every 22 minutes, playing freaky factory, watching TV, etc. =_+
and my blog has become sort of a ghost town as a result. oops. will update more regularly. PROMISE! :D

so here's some pictures of what happened at me + mum's birthday lunch @ Equinox! :) super nice place man. it's been ages since I last visited the restaurant and boy has the place become so much nicer now.

oh yup I owe lots of people birthday shoutouts! um let's see... to mummy and daddy for the superstar orange watch, pokemonDVD (eh it's NICE okay and now my pokemon movie collection is complete), panweibo's compilation CD, gourmet and celinebean for the incredible mirror with the sticky things and *ahem* thing which made me hyper for days and days, chuiguan juniors- koh, jiaqian, yixin, esther, chewlin, yingbao, xinyi, anqi, claire, xiaohan, ginteng, amirah! for the not-so-surprise party complete with the yummy cheesecake + supernice presents and cards, banana gang- leng's sms wishes, baofang's surprise card which came super punctually by mail and sms, and yiying's "OMG SORRY I FORGOT AHH! happy birthday!" and the present i know you guys owe me! and 401 for giving me a heart attack when they sang bday song the moment i came back frm the toilet during SS +_+ and the rest for birthday wishes also! hillo, gordon, jonathan our good old Wen Tian Xiang man, shiyun, voony, wenyi, claud, zhengrui, wilgene, those who wished me on facebook and manymanymany more :) AND BAO FOR BUYING MUSTARD ON WEDNESDAY I LOVE YOU BAO AND MUSTARD HAHA!

yep! And although my birthday was just one freaking day before EYAs, it's been pretty much one of the best birthdays I've ever had :) thanks y'all :)
