get a move on.

Grarrrh I seriously need to get a move on. Okay, so CO saikang is more or less over, except the final quotation for both prog booklet and chuida shirt, sometimes getting caught up in all these stuff just makes me wonder whether I made the right choice of agreeing to become chuiguan SL, especially after realising how much time and sleep the job can actually cost you. Oh well. Still, it's kinda fun, and chuiguan is relatively cooperative, so that makes it alot easier and happier (:

I really should be sleeping now, but I just feel like asking myself so many questions that I doubt I myself would be able to answer completely 100% truthfully.

I need to stop getting caught up in things and catch the focus back. Like in Sec One. I suppose as you grow older life gets very much more complicated, and even though it doesn't seem like it there are things that are forever like 20-tonne weights that weigh your heart down and sometimes make them plummet deeper and deeper when the weights pile up on top of each other.... Until one day, your heartstrings snap and you go totally berserk and wild with a kind of fury that even you yourself can't understand..................

Dunno.... Just need to work on getting focused, I guess. : /

ladeeda.

I can't believe it. I'm joining a singing competition.
-______ -
*pulls on the biggest blank face in the world*

Okay, so it's not a singing competition. more like songwriting, with valsoh and cheryl and the other yme groups.

I suddenly feel very compelled to blog here, even though I haven't got anything particularly interesting to share. Just that uh... if any CO person reads this,
because CO is lacking in funds...... PLEASE DONATE YOUR FIVEDOLLARS FOR A BETTER, MORE COLOURFUL AND PRESENTABLE 16-PAGE CONCERT PROGRAMME BOOKLET!
seriously. We so don't want all that blood progbooklet comm (esp bao and me) coughed out so many late nights to go to waste. I even collected the blood in a bucket and it's with Bob the Builder for safekeeping and some day I will use that blood to make smoothies. Alright no, this is getting way too morbid. Hmmmmmm.
Your money can go a very long way- it gives us a chance to publish a much nicer and more meaningful memento of concert'08!  (:

i love my moose! <3

i'll be your long-haired lover from liverpool!

ZOMG the past few days have been totally cooooooooooool!
*opens champagne again!!!*

Monday- the secret stuff valsoh wilz and i were doing- a baking mission. Sort of baked an edible, rather tasty but totally diabetic cake. The decorations were kind of crazy because the icing kept dribbling down to the table or collecting in a small hole in the middle of the cake. But it turned out nice in the end, thanks to OUR superb skills : D
Moral of the story? never put all your trust into a cookbook for very young children.
And after we baked we had pizza lunch and played Wii for like goodness-knows-how-long. Had loads of fun with those miis (the little people you create and use as players in the games). *giggles*

TUESDAY- CO again, again, again............................ but it was quite okay i guess. :) after that i went out with simei yuyue and stacey for lunch. me and yuyue had pepperlunch cravings, so the other two bought da-baoed KFC and ate together with us. :) talked about alot of stuff, like our first impressions of each other and CO people.
Then there was RS. recording! :)
AND THEN RUSHED OFF TO WATCH THE OSMONDS CONCERT :D
....... right, so I was probably one of the youngest 5% of the audience, but who cares anyway, they're really good! My parents and gugu were such ardent fans that I kind of grew up with their music although it was ages and ages ago, and I liked it. So I went to watch concert with them!
AHAHAHAHA the marie part was so hilarious, I was practically dying there and shaking the chair so much. We all were I guess. The guy in the audience was so cute and blur! We think he won't ever be able to sleep at night ever again. :D
Then during intermission my aunt kept wanting to go to the side barriers to try and catch a glimpse or maybe even shout at one of the osmonds, but no way, there was already this huge bunch of crazy people crowding around there and they eventually got chased off. Hah.

whendonnyosmondcameoutInearlynearlynearlywetmyself.

BECAUSE HE SANG MY FAVOURITEST SONG!

I'm not using proper english now due to fatigue from finishing that crazy titanic compre, but never mind. I LOVE THAT CONCERT TO BITS AND PIECES MAN.

:D
oh gosh CO tomorrow AGAIN. and it's until 7pm. good luck to me (and for doing all the saikang haha)

camp chuiguan :D

So i'm back from CO camp (and a very long while since i've blogged, i just realised).

Two days before camp went to watch Prince Caspian, zomg it was SUPER GOOD. Kinda reminded me of LOTR the two towers, 'coz of the trees that came alive and the whole battle. Where I kept my fingers dug right into my ear throughout the entire battle scenes because it was so thrilling, ahahaha. Very good show. Worth the money. ZOMG EDMUND AND PRINCE CASPIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN are so hawt. :D

gross. I sneezed and an entire mouthful of oatmeal flew all over my face.

Yep and then camp was totally fun! Two whole days (plus one quarter of the day before) being together with the instruments and chuiguan = havoc. Pracs were pretty satisfying, especially 'coz now JJL and the other pieces like molou are more or less better, at least for my section I suppose. AND WE SETTLED CHUIDA SHIRTZZZZ.  *breaks open champagne*
Oh yeah oh yeah I think one of the best things in camp was doing mad stuff with chuiguan and simei wenting and yuyue. While three of us were showering, the automatic lights suddenly went off and we started screaming like hell. And then yuyue was like "Eh quick hurry up everybody stamp the floor!" but the lights didn't go on. So um wenny did a very chivalrous (yes, chivalrous) thing which I shall not say, but that really made the lights go back on for the rest of our bath. *pops more champagne*

NIGHTTIME. We were probably the last to finish dinner cos we were first to shower, but anyway the food was so uneatable (just an opinion, you know i'm a fusspot) that I took extremely long to finish it while watching abit of TV. Three of us went walking around the entire track in the dark, with nothing but a torchlight. But there wasn't anything- or at least we thought there wasn't.

"don't look at the banana tree whatever you do, DON'T look at the banana tree!!!!!!"

HAH.

KOIZORA was so very cliche, but very, very sad anyway. All of them predicted I'd cry and I really did. So did the rest, except koh haha but that's an expected exception. The last 20 minutes of the show was tissue-filled, I must have sobbed all over chewlin. :D
After that we went to wash up, and just as we exited the toilet, the lights all the way at the other end of the corridor suddenly went off and the sudden darkness totally scared us. We actually didn't plan to run off but we all ended up screaming and running away, and the scurrying lizard at the stairwell didn't help either. As we were reaching the hall we saw a couple of dark figures bobbing up and down at the stairs leading to the hall, and we were so shocked but actually it was just daji. O_o In the middle of the night wenting and I went to the foyer to play piano and stare at the old principals' portraits. Only Buckle's eyes seem to be moving. The rest seemed to be laughing at the way we attempted to play the si shou lian tan from Secret. :D

Managed to take seeeeecret photos of chuiguan (and a bit of dorcas nina and clara) sleeping at 3.30am, where me yuyue and wenting sort of decided to give up after sleeping through the alarm, but I went on with it anyway because simei was trying to wake me up. Everyone seemed to sleep face down. How they do it, I have absolutely NO IDEA.

The next morning was pretty much the crappiest for me 'coz my sinus was acting up really badly, I couldn't sleep the night before, I spilled milo all over the table and I think the CO shirts were rather large for most of the section. :( as a result got very snappy and depressed in the morning until simei and I went to go time cello and xianyue's qizou, which was alot more fun than sitting around moping about how disgustingly lousy you are at managing your life, estimating people's shirt sizes and balancing a cup of milo. Yep lunch the food was uneatable again, I guess I barely ate during the camp, which is good because mummy thinks I have slimmed down a little.

Conclusion: MY (sec one and two) JUNIORS HAVE YET TO FIND OUT THE JOY OF HAVING GUYS AS FRIENDS.  tsktsktsk. children nowadays.

Dazu was stonefest, kind of like when we were doing liang feng back last year because suona had no parts until 154 bars later. And wanglaoshi kept doing the first 154 bars for about one hour plus, so basically anqi just stoned, tried not to fall asleep despite my constant assurance that it's okay to sleep if there's eons to go before suona's parts. And wenting jiaqian and I just stoned, talked alot of nonsense, played three-way pepsi cola (where we all pwned jiaqian), did all sorts of weird hairstyles on each other, and took loads and loads of secret photos of people. Okay that's toupai, in other words, but that sounds so un-valteoishly cheena, so I won't use that word. So anyway we took candid photos of cello people dozing off on the cellos, dinglaoshi sleeping with the stuffed ducky next to him, the other instructors, etc. I have no idea why we could amuse ourselves with the camera for such a long time. Thankfully our part came after goodness-knows-when, and after molou ahboss came back :DDDD ohwell the rest of dazu was alot more fun, can show off all the disgustingly high notes in qin wang and tianshan to ahboss who claims she has gone even higher, and during hongloumeng the three of us were so caught up in our friendly tussle over who would play the high solo part that we totally MISSED it.
O_O

etc etc alot more fun stuff, but i suppose overall it was a really good camp. The most fun I've had in the hols.

OH YES. __________ COMING TO ______________.  >: D

You Are Destined to Be Thin
Even if you aren't thin right now, you have great habits that will ensure you're thin for most of your life.
You have a great relationship with food and eating. Don't change a thing.
Are You Destined To Be Overweight?

the weight thing.

i need nice legs, i can no longer stand being fat.
can you give me nice legs?
can you take away my fats?
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE ??? : O

I'm such a fat girl, and if I could turn back time, I'd have rejected all those ice creams restaurant treats cheesy cheesy icky gooey food AND GOING LIKE FOUR ROUNDS ON A BUFFET. ew. I hate my fat stage, in pri5, that was probably the time where I absolutely looked the WORST, big everywhere, my sharp chin almost completely round, my arms stocky, spare tyres concealed behind those baggy shirts, and STRAIGHT STOCKY FAT LEGS WITH NO SHAPE AT ALL. Everytime I stare at that photo of me during pri5 prize presentation i'm like ZOMG WAS I THAT STUPID AND GREEDY?

Alright, perhaps I have gone considerably far, my legs in a much better shape than ever before and at least it's got alot more muscle than blasted wobbling fat. And i'm happy with my entire torso.

JUST THE STUPID WOBBLING THIGHS- Stop wobbling for goodness sake!

call me desperate, but y'know, i can't help getting this stinging, aching longing when I see skinny people endowed with skinny genes and high metabolic rates, and it aches even more, honestly, when all three of your very best friends have that privilege to die for. Fast food, maggi mee, snacks at home, three proper meals, not an regular (i.e. three times a week) kind of exercise routine, and would you look at that, they're all so skinny. Yes you people are skinny despite the suan-ing at home. *grins*. Okay wait why am I grinning. Normally when friends come we actually have to go to the supermarket and buy snacks just for the occasion, because our family doesn't eat that kind of thing, unless if you count oat crackers and very rarely, prawn crackers or corntos. And i've never drunk a full glass of cow's milk in my entire life 'coz i used to be seriously lactose intolerant, didn't know how soda tasted like till I was 7 'coz of coughs, rarely eat fries, etc etc etc. I could go rambling on and on about this, but up to this point i'm kind of at a very low tolerance for my fatness. Rotund, big, pleasantly plump, whatever, they mean the same thing. Not that anyone has said I'm fat before, except the chinese physician who helped me do tui1 na2 two years back. I suppose it was a very, very wrong move to comment how much meat I had, because after that I never returned despite my church being right above that clinic.

Which is why I am NOT going to see the family chiropractor until my size gets reduced. I am phobic, too afraid sometimes to face the horrible truth.

And this blog, especially with such long and whiny posts, is getting increasingly and nastily self-centered. Gone are the days where it's just, "Oh, today I had geog and it was fun. But I couldn't understand math lesson so I was very bothered." or "lol. CO today was so fun. We act like human metronomes for the gaosuo people doing liang feng, lol. hahaha. heehee."
Maybe it's 'cause I'm realizing reality? Like being dunked in a colossal abyss of icy water and being pulled out of it suddenly- the stinging sensation just lingers on and shocks you for days and many more days to come. Don't get me wrong, I think I have a rather steady self-esteem. It's just the sheer frustration that makes me grit my teeth as type this now, and wanting so badly to at least shed alot of fat without resorting to extremely dangerous means. Rest assured I'll never do that.

Oh, and Gina's losing faith in what she knows
Hates her music, hates all of her clothes
Thinks of surgery and a new nose; every calorie's a war
And while she wishes she was a dancer
And that she never heard of cancer
She wishes God would give her some answers
And make her feel beautiful

I remember feeling low
And I remember losing hope
And I remember all the feelings
And the day they stopped

We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent, we are, we are
We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent, we are, we are

One day, you'll have to let it go

You'll have to let it go, no
One day, you'll stand up on your own
You'll stand up on your own, yeah
Remember losing hope
Remember feeling low
Remember all the feelings and the day they stopped

We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent, we are, we are
We are, we are all innocent
We are all innocent, we are, we are...

(not that i'm exactly like the woman in the song, but the calorie part is so painfully true.)

power to biking and friendz.

oh yeah, I just realised.

habba happy birthday boss! :D

Just came back from a super-long super-fun biking trip with yiying :D
cycled probably half of the whole eastcoastpark, parked our bikes somewhere and went to sit on the rocks where we looked very, very (mistakenly) emo. And did our fair share of camwhoring for nearly an hour. Then we lunched at subway, and went shopping at parkway for a little while where i bought a certain gourmet's present (EHEHEHEHEH.) Shall upload the pics :)

Got a bit sunburnt (but not as bad as HCI interaction that time) from the cycling, gawsh it was just a little while under the sun. What's the world coming to, I wonder. And yiying didn't even get burnt a teensy bit. :O my skin must be made of tofu.
Ah yiying you rock. :D

Oh i love the songs davidcook sang for Idol!
