freaky days
Woargh today was kind of freaky!Oh must start from yesterday first.
ME WENT TO CARL'S JR AND SAT THERE AND ATE ME FIRST BURGER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN M'LIFE. :D
I must really curb my growing addiction for criss-cut fries, they're just so good but i'll be fatter than willettewee if I keep buying them from plaza sing. Found out at the last minute that I was timekeeping for orals yesterday, but it was mostly my fault so I decided to be a nice girl and go do timekeeping.
And ended up eating carl's jr with lory (with fiat tyre!), chomping on this huge burger while helping her with trigo assignment and stuff. and went back just in time for timekeeping, but was RELIEVED from duty 'coz they only needed five people and I was the only vchair there, cleared the classroom with yitong shimin and elaine, went to the office to put TWO BUCKS at lost and found with shimin and yitong, discovered liy was going home too, then pangseh-ed yitong and shimin and went home with liy instead. :)
Liy and I stoned throughout the bus rides which was pretty short, then we went to the pet shop at our neighbourhood to go see hamster cages and sawdust. :)
now that's a longwinded story.
MUAHAHAHEEHEE I FINISHED SS. *evil laugh*
I think my thoughts are rather disjointed today, for some very strange reason. Maybe it's 'coz of tomorrow's SS? But then again there's no link. Ah well.
[sitting next to willette at the back has its benefits, I can now shout stuff to valsoh becca and yitong across the back of the classroom without being heard, and use wil's nice squashy back as a personal comfort backrest. and sleep on the floor right below the chalkboard just before higher chinese, because it's boring.]
:D
WATCH OUT SS 'COZ OCTEO'S SERIOUSLY GOING TO PWN YOU.
although I do pray that I'll do well. hee.

randomized
Just a series of random thoughts before I do math. The trees near my house are so green. I never noticed.
And watching Mythbusters is super cool. got stuck watching the show for a whole hour after eating lunch just now. (:
AND the childbirth video we watched during bio last week pretty much grossed me out.
So it's supposed to be all amazing and spectacular and all that, but still, it was very, very, very frightening. Urghhhhhhh. Dunno how people who have about 11 children do it. I'd rather spent 11 years of my life deaf in one ear than go through it 11 horrible times. :S When we got to the childbirth part ziyi went outside, and people were screaming and wincing and giving weird commentaries and shouting and biting their sweaters (righhhhhhht. that was me.). That was the day I think I almost died of shock.
Oh random thought number three- with a trusty red metal biscuit tin, you can do ANYTHING! :D

such a happy person am i.
VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY HAPPY (: this week sure was tough but so many fun and WEIRD things really spiced it up!
hey look up there!
valsoh, cheryl and me. upside down from all the high-ness.
i love the mirrors! they're super cool! (:
Yep, those were Tuesday's RS photos! We'd just finished editing our songs and we're DONE AT LONG LAST with them, so we decided to practice singing with yingling justina and linghui.
And then there was this guy in a green jacket who turned out to be the principal of the music sch where we've been having smashing RS sessions in for the past year, of course after we all poked our heads out from the side of the door to investigate.
Then mrteo helped us get liweisong's autograph! I hid behind the door : O but after that we got talk and got the autograph on our handbooks (and valsoh's bio journal. AH VALSOH I SHOULD'VE BROUGHT MY BIO JOURNAL TOO.) :D
After that cheryl valsoh and I became so superbly happy and high that we started camwhoring and taking all sorts of weird out-of-this-world pictures. I LOVE US. and rs of course. (:
lydia sum passed away a few days ago, and valsoh's head collided with the sharp metal end of the noticeboard near the school bookshop. It was a real scare 'coz valsoh willette and becca were right behind dorcas and I on the way up to class, but after that the three of them disappeared from math lesson for such a long time that we decided it wasn't possible that all of them were having stomachaches in the toilet or something. ms ko kept trying to fasten the little plastic bag of ice to the balaku on valsoh's head, with hairpins and hairbands and A VERY LONG RUBBER BAND. valsoh your ears must be really elastic by now. glad you're fine BUT WE KNOW YOU'RE BLURPOK #1 :)
xiaozu yesterday! i like my secone newcomers, they're really much nicer than I expected them to be. And the best thing was that they were very amused with the suonas, and even wanted to buy their own. (: Well thank God there's no one who really detests suonas and shengs, in fact they were both laughing when they attempted to blow notes into their suonas. I gave my dear sweet morpeng (the zhongsuo i used for syf) to amirah to use! TAKE GOOD CARE OF THAT AND SHINE IT OFTEN YO.
and at last today was SLI.
the fun part came when the entire gourmet met back in class to talk crap. Mr s e g a rr a was super nice, he brought in biscuits, NATURE VALLEY BARS and even food from the reception downstairs. dorcas used the empty hup seng biscuit tin as a large camera, like the kind those professional tv station cameramen use when they're filming. we were doing some sort of tv talk show with valsoh wil and i- the HupSeng Heads Down :) came up with super lame nonsense answers to dorcas' VALENTINES DAY SPEICAL INTERVIEW using a biscuit tin.
after that we had extra chem lesson which lasted till I don't know when, then the entire gourmet went to dhoby xchange for lunch, fell asleep and then rushed back for CO. which pretty much sums up my happy tiring week and SLI day.
gosh it's getting late. need my beauty sleep now. night. :D

triumph and dread.
:)am feeling very triumphant because I have finished math assignment (with a leeeeeettle help from dorcas wil and jieying!) and understood everything at math lesson and didn't have to sit bus190 thanks to penny and had fun at chem tuition today :D 'course, chem tuition's alot more fun 'coz it's with my uncle and you get to eat carl's jr and pineapple tarts and all sorts of nice sweet things :)
I notice I often punctuate each sentence with smileys. Just comes naturally I guess, even if I'm in a not-so-happy-as-you-think-I-am kind of mood.
and as I open my email to check the yahoo groups for chuiguan's newcomers, I can't help but feel this terrible sense of dread. It's not funny if nearly 100% (make that 95%, and not counting the dizi people) of the newcomers in your section aren't in it by choice, and all of 'em are coming in with the ultra-blackest faces you've ever seen. Oh well I guess we all started that way. But still. it's annoying, for voldemort's sake. :D
ah whee. voldemort makes me think of maid in manhattan, which makes me happy again :)
Today has been superbly tiring. First-ever recording session for RS tomorrow!! HELLO WORLD, GET READY TO HEAR OCTOPUS SING!

Happy CNY!
HEEHEE I AM WAYYYYYYYYYY BEHIND BUT ANYWAY HAPPY CNY YALL :)Just occurred to me that it's been ages since I last updated. oops.
BUT here's the update- I spent my CNY in bandung, indonesia!
Pretty nice place luh, and for a trip which I wasn't exactly looking forward to in the beginning, it was great. Left on the eve (PON SCHOOL MUAHAHAR) and sat SIA flight for the first time in my whole life. SIA is supergood, especially the in flight games :) Most of the whole flight to and fro was spent playing super mario, eating and attempting to unblock my poor ears which are still blocked to this very day.
We had to endure (not really that bad though) a four-hour journey to bandung from jakarta, where most of us were either overwhelmed by the scenery or sleeping like pigs at the back (i.e. my cousins and I). The whole place is abundant in green stuff, goats, cows and dunkin' donuts! :D The rest stops were nice too and their KFC seems better than the ones here. Dunno why.
Oh and at last we reached Sheraton hotel bandung! :) abit the weird to see one nice five star hotel springing up right in the middle of a cluster of old shophouses and everything with food carts all over the place, but ohwellnevermind the hotel was GREAT too!
Dinner was ummmmm at a family friend's huge sprawling hilltop private house (they have two more somewhere nearby O: ), bbq and steamboat! BE JEALOUS and willette wee you're NOT the only one who had steamboat okaye. >:)
And then we watched American Idol back in the hotel room till we fell asleep!
Day TWO/ I FELL SICK WAHAHA.
I can't remember alot of what happened except that I completely lost my appetite that day and probably ate the equivalent of one and a half plate of rice and a few chicken sticks. We drove right up to the mountain to see an extinct volcano with the huge huge huge crater at the bottom! It was so cool luh but the stupid touts had to come and destroy the whole ambience of the place by bounding up to you to try and sell their wares every chance they get. And because my aunt went and nearly bought something, our van was surrounded by a hoard of touts pounding at our windows and we had to drive off without getting more pictures of the craters. Grrrrrr go away you touts. Get away from the volcano, get a job and get a nicer un-tout-ish life.
The mountaintop was SO COLD i was shivering for the rest of the day, even after we soaked our feet in the hot springs. Our lunch was on this cool nice hilltop restaurant where we ate in a little hut exclusively for us, with cushions spread all over the floor so we all napped for awhile until the food came. I slept the whole lunch coz me was sort of in sick and dying mode already. After lunch I think mum discovered that I was having a high fever so we both stoned and sponged in a cafe until the rest were done shopping, then we slept through the night in the hotel room. Oh the most amusing thing was that they gave my mum an old fashioned clinical thermometer, the kind where you have to shake all the mercury and wait one minute for the mercury to shoot up the thermometer. THANK GOD FOR EAR THERMOMETERS AND WHATEVER THERMOMETER I'M GONNA USE FOR TEMP TAKING EXERCISE TOMORROW : )
Day three! I got well, and we went on major shopping sprees at the factory outlets :D
Then we drove back to jakarta, checked in to another nice hotel where we'd be staying for the night. Lol we survived a massive traffic jam just to get to a mall for steak dinner, but the food was pretty good there and I almost bought new skins for my ipod there.
Day four! HOME :) oh and of course before that we had some fun at the hotel first, went to another mall for lunch and baskin robbins ice cream dessert! :) Then rush rush rush check out of the hotel, said bye bye to the wonderful driver who took care of us throughout the whole trip, managed to catch the 5pm flight and got back home. yay.
And I bought popeye shirts for gourmet at last, from rumah mode. Good thing we never got to buy the shirts from bossini back here 'coz they're so so so so so much cheaper in the bandung shops. There's something popular about popeye there which I don't get. :/
I'm tired. But i finished my work and i finished blogging AT LAST hohohohoho! :) and yes i love bandung to bits and pieces :)
