DEATHLY HALLOWS

woohoo! deathly hallows mania.
OCTEO WILL NOT READ THE LAST FOUR CHAPTERS UNTIL OCTEO DOES THAT CHEM ASSIGNMENT WHICH IS DUE TOMORROW.
oh for the sake of chem! aiyah.
yesterday was a busy but fun day! and queueing up with beatrice and kaiyang for deathly hallows outside borders was one of the most thrilling experiences in my life! (the other most thrilling one was getting pokemon diamond and pearl and alot of others i can't remember) they dressed up in slytherin costumes, and since I refused to dress up i sort of decided that i'd turned up as a muggle. we almost got interviewed by this kindly reporter but we declined (: Oh and coz i pre-ordered the book, i got a free snowy owl plushie, and bought a OoTP bookmark! made my saturday morning super-special and magical :)

and then I actually RAN all the way to far east from borders, coz I was kind of half an hour late for our jap project discussion. my owl ate chicken cheese sticks and onion rings and some ice milo, and cheriel and I took turns to read the book and write the script. then we went to gelare for a sundae to um celebrate the end of a fruitful jap discussion! ahhh i love the four of us jap people, bong cheriel simei and I <3

AH okay then after that willette dorcas valsoh and I went out for GOURMET HUNT NUMBER TWO at tm fish & co! Willette was delighted with the fish with loads of cheese inside coz it reminded us of ravioli. yeah crapping's the best thing to do at gourmet hunts! and then as usual we spent like almost 20 minutes calculating GST and prices after we got the bill, it was super funny! And after that we stopped by to buy honey sticks, laughed like crazy at the blackening sky in the MRT, grabbed three extra straws while valsoh was buying bubble tea, started singing 310's indian dance song for RHD, and crapped some more on the way to dorcas' church.
whoa. dorcas' church is HUGE, compared to my little itsy bitsy church. yay but i love ebf anyway <3 nubian gents were incredible, the youth pastor was dynamic and the band was really a band! haha!

haha that's pretty much of my fun-and-unproductive-but-productive-nevertheless saturday! thanks to beatrice kaiyang jap group people and gourmet ppl for the fun saturday!!!!

WELL DONE 301!

WELL DONE THREE-OH-ONE!
We totally rocked RHD dance competition today. even though we didn't get top 3, it was fun :)

Today was quite a busy day, coz of RHD dance! the kompang session in the morning was really really cool, and the dance was just awesome. my fellow chinese dance people! huang qian the pro, and valsoh, jieying, farizan and xinwei, WELL DONE! I think our chinese dance was the best among all the classes, heh. and well done good job woohoo to all the 301 dancers and 301 and MR ANG (for making that lovely 301 placard!) and miss pang who thought our dance was nice! (:

CO made jiaqian wenting and I super high today, and probably yuyue too! xP We were one of the only bunch of people out of the whole entire CO who ate out. We got back just in time but a litle late at the same time (does that make sense?!!).
Wahhhhh after sitting in front with boss for such a long long time it was so nice to sit at the second row with wenting and jiaqian again, like during the SYF period! Back to crapping during dazus, laughing, getting high and forgetting to play our parts! got high on ROSIE DING :D
we tried to converse with dinglaoshi in english, and he actually can speak pretty good english!

ding: i am going home!

us: WHY are you going home?!!!!!!

ding: i going home because... because... because I HAVE WIFE!

Oh my what a hilarious ding! :) Then we got all high with ROSIE and ding, and adding rubbish impromptu lyrics to chaxiang. hah we have more or less memorized both songs, especially duo2 feng1 shou1! AND i got bullied by two certain people who have no idea what the meaning of PERVERT should mean! haha :)

please don't tell me any spoilers (details about the book like SPECIFICALLY who died, and what happened, and the epilogue, etc.)! spoilers aren't nice! all potterfans should have a chance to experience the thrill of finishing the book for themselves! unless of course some enjoy spoilers, that's another thing. Dad thinks i'm obssessed because he sees me reading the book, but no i'm not an overly obssessed potterfan, but still a potterfan anyway ;) it's gonna come out soon sooN soON sOON SOON! A few more hours.

tomorrow's gonna be great! harry potter at 7.01am at borders, then i'll go off to meet cheriel bong and simei for breakfast at far east BK and finish up our jap project script together there, then piano frm 2-4, and 2ND GOURMET HUNT with the fantastic gourmet people and dorcas' church event! HOORAY :) haha woots thank God everything's so nicely fit tomorrow so nothing really clashes at all. whee!
off to sleep, got a date with deathly hallows tomorrow! once again, please don't tell me any spoilers please please please!

HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX

totally rocked this pokemaniac pottermaniac octopus UPSIDE DOWN!

gotta love sirius black! haha i shall not blog much about the details of the movie for the sake of those who haven't watched it *stares at valsoh and willette*. Went to watch it yesterday at 5.30pm at GV tampines with dear yiying whose bro booked the tickets for us! thanks to yiying's bro for saving the day with his credit card at the axs machine! So we were like 5 minutes late but it didn't really matter 'coz when we got in the show had just started. I think we were hyperventilating throughout the show, of course being pottermaniacs since pri 5 (: we watched chamber of secrets, prisoner of azkaban and goblet of fire together too! The settings are totally amazing especially the ministry of magic and the department of mysteries, and umbridge sort of looks like my aunt! GRAWP IS OH-SO CUTE! Towards the part when the key members of DA went to the minstry of magic to save sirius, yiying and I were grasping each other's hands so tightly and there was one part where bits of cheesy hotdog flew out of my mouth. Then we were hyperventilating quietly and when sirius got killed I couldn't CONTROL myself anymore, I was like sobbing really loudly for a while! and yiying's poor hand got quite soaked. yeah we were really scared even though we knew what was going to happen, I was actually shivering non stop! OoTP WAS AND IS GREAT GREAT GREAT!
and then yiying and I decided to stay back while the credits were rolling, and we pulled out our straws from the cup of lemon tea and started firing curses and jinxes and all sorts of rubbish spells at each other, until we had a lot of drops of tea on our cheeks! and yy tried out the high chair too! then had dinner with yy and her dad, bro and bro's girlfriend at pizza hut! thanks for the treat (: love ya dear dear dear yy for making yesterday one of the best days i've ever had in a long time! <3<3<3

oh and yesterday xiaozu was super fun! wenting jiaqian and I slipped two orange-flavoured mentos and one yellow mentos into josselyn's ORANGE water bottle, and by the time she came back the mentos had dissolved and the three of us were screaming like mad. And the HELLO KITTY thing! haha. oh how i love those crazy xiaozus!


making some decisions are really, really, really, really hard sometimes. really hard.

HAPPY!!!

hahaha octeo is a HAPPY HAPPY person :D as usual!
haha last night's thing was all over, a thing of the deep dark black past of the life of an eight-legged creature. haha. not sure what really happened but think I cried like some idiot (the way harry cried when cedric died in GoF :D) at least now things are settled and going back to normal yeahhh (: hooray.

HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX- IT'S OUT IT'S OUT IT'S REALLY REALLY OUT! *SCREAMS*

oh well but sadly i wont be able to watch it on the opening day coz i'm going for MEP-strings concert. you three gourmet people you have me to thank for being such a nice supportive former-MEPer. haha (:

anyway today was a pretty slack day, chinese teacher didn't come! so 4 of us were sitting around trying to play invisible uno which was really exciting coz we kept coming up with too many draw 2 and draw 4 cards! then inspired by carbustruckLORY, we made some cartoon drawings of the gourmet people and teachers and mr ang! oh and mr ang's advice after the RJ talk was very, very, very, very touching. i mean it.
SHIRLEYBONG! wahaha we went out to far east and practically slacked the whole time there! after eating at long john's we went window-shopping at the basement for awhile. oh oh oh and i found this really cute and funny Little Miss Chatterbox shirt with the cartoon printed on it! i wanted to buy it, cause after all, i AM a chatterbox :D And then we ate fried mars bars! ohdearohdear i am in LOVE with those lovely fried balls of mars bars and the vanilla ice cream, the first bite was totally heavenly but after that I felt a bit sick upon realising that it was filled with gooey overly sweet caramel. anyway, it was so good I just forgot about the caramel and finished the balls up. yummy. octeo feels very fat now.

I SHALL IMPROVE ON MY MATH, AND IMPROVE SO DRASTICALLY ONE DAY THAT MY MATH TEACHER'S HAIR TURNS ALL WHITE AND RUNS AWAY STRAND BY STRAND.

wah octeo is boiling mad to the point of smashing this comp and the printer and the scanner and the entire house down >:[

you think people are so free to actually do ten, i mean come on people are so busy already and almost going to burst open like some pea pod already and you have to come and add some more pressure. maybe its a misunderstanding (i think it really is) but why do i always have to open my mouth and say the wrong things and you have to open your mouth and say those really mean things really really get people down and everything. but then again those mean things are very true, very very very true, but sometimes you really get the wrong idea and i get the wrong idea too and things just go crashing down. but then i still really enjoy talking to you coz there's no one else quite like you and seriously i hope you can understand coz i am trying to understand now as i type furiously and think of bio spa and all the millions of other things fast approaching. i really really want it to be good, not sub-standard and rushed and crappy but really good, so i guess i'm kind of fussy and stuff and sometimes we both don't seem to get what we're both thinking.
and i'm really scared coz when you get pissed you're pissed for a long time and it really depends, sometimes it's hard to come back and sometimes it's not, but whatever the case I really really want you to know (though you won't see this) that i am doing this because i really want it good and it has to be good coz it will mean alot to many people and myself and you included. it's less than a month- in fact three more weeks before the big day. and i'm really taking your advice even though you think i'm not coz i believe in you. yeah. i'm sorry.

please smash and squash my brains up now and frame the remnants up on the wall.
it's selfishness on my part, impatience on your part and misunderstanding on our part.

yeahh sorry for the unusual weird rantings, and um people taking bio spa (especially the dear 301ers), all the best! surviving july and august sure won't be easy but oh well, i'll just go for it. :)

and it really means alot to us.

THANK GOD THIS WEEK IS OVER!
so many stressful stuff and endless piles of work! but it's all over. not really coz there's more to come, but it's just so relieving to know that there's no more math test and chem retest and jap test for a while!
so many things that made me survive the week! Like YMEP- it's fun all the time! valsoh and I were late coz of the bio practical, but never mind that, coz we had a super fun (and um romantic? AHAHA) time taking bus to LWSSOM and buying ANYTHING on the way there! and we met lao shi at the bus stop opposite school, which was a surprise! so shocked and happy to see her! We persuaded her to come back throughout the entire bus ride and we really really really REALLY miss her and cassandra seto (search lor search lor). AHH hope lao shi comes back!
and anyway during YMEP we ate so much junk food! not really junk food, coz it's those australian sweets that are 99% fat free. hooray for hide-a-key and his sweets! then he gave us cookie clods which I fell in love with! I think I gobbled up most of the two packets of white choc and milk choc clods! And I got to take one packet of clods home! octeo is a happy clod-addic :)
VALSOH! *COUGH* IS NOT MY INSPIRATION OKAY! i have a lot of inspirations but *cough* sure ain't one of them! heeheehee.
Oh then I took valsoh along to bras basah to visit cliffy at the music shop and buy POTO SCORES omg i love the poto scores they're fantastic! got pictures some more! hooray! and then mum fetched val soh home (:

FANTASTIC GOURMET OUTING <3<3<3
My first late friday night outing with friends! After CO willette dorcas valsoh and I went to bugis to take neos and have dinner! We were all squashed up in the bus and there was this teacher squeezing right next to the door behind me... I ended up like some squashed up juiced orange at the end of the ride! And we were lucky enough to see paul twohill go up the bus at orchard, and there was this pai kia right behind willette who sounded (and looked) like he was gonna pick a fight with the bus uncle... they were sort of having a short little row with one another. SCARY :S
We rushed up to take neoprints when we reached bugis, our poses were awfully cute and funny and GOURMET-ISH! Oh and HAPPY CARBON DAY VALSOH AND WILLETTE (: I love our neos! willette and I were trying to imitate the poses of the models in the photos!!! some poses were super funny but disgusting!
After that we rushed down to macs so valsoh could buy a take-away meal to eat along the way to her tuition center. And the three of us were left to find a place to eat.
We felt rather risk-taker-ish and rather happy and rather in a feasting mood, so after deciding for goodness knows how long, we went to Sketches to eat! haha being suaku people who don't eat in restaurants together very often, we looked absolutely hilarious trying to calculate prices with GST and ordering food and everything! We had to cancel one cup of iced tea after realizing that the bill would go alot higher if we ordered it... hmmmm grarrrh gst!
We enjoyed the pasta so much, dorcas took pics of us eating the pasta and even the BILL too! haha i think willette liked the ravioli alot... SO FUN we just sat there, so wu you wu lu, talking and crapping and laughing and choking! Dorcas slopped water on her skirt and then when we were about to leave willette started laughing and choking on her water, then I also started choking on water and the 3 of us ended up sitting down laughing non stop. LAUGHTER IS MY LIFE :D hoho dorcas and I met weird people in the mrt train too! heheh.
THANK YOU SO MUCH GOURMET PEOPLE! helped me survive so many tough weeks of school and having so much fun every day! i love us! <3
