yay
HOORAY!this week has been fun! from monday all the way to today and tomorrow and sunday and next week and so on!
went to seletar country club with 3 of my cousins to swim+bowl+play arcade+EAT EAT EAT on monday. It was kind of unexpected 'cos my aunt asked me to go along only on sunday night so I was quite unprepared. In the end I managed to cancel my piano lesson and spent one whole entire afternoon and night with my relatives (: We went bowling after lunch and my bowling score was terribly horrendous. 54 points only!! I have de-proved! cos I haven't been bowling for nearly a year, which gives plen-ty of time for de-proving! We had more fun changing our names on the computer thingy which records down your score and has those funny bowling animations popping out. SO my funkaye guy cousins added "nator" after their names so it's like -nator, to make it more erm macho? haha. In the end my aunt became diamondnator and one of them changed his name to HOT TUNA HELLBOY. oh boy how I love hot tuna.
Swimming was the best part of all 'cos of the ESCAPADE! I'm the second oldest cousin so my eldest cousin dawn and I had to sort of keep a very very annoyingly frustratingly close watch on our youngest cousin who's like only SIX (that's 6), whose feet can barely touch the bottom of the shallow side of the pool. I wanted to swim around the pool 4 times but I only managed to sneak off to swim 1 1/2 rounds because we had to constantly make sure that our youngest cousin was safe. The four of us swam off to the deepest end and kept on warning our youngest cousin not to go over to that end (she can't even swim for pete's sake). BUT of course our dear little cousin kept on saying no fair and did what our aunt calls "ban-ning". "ban" means to pout in hokkien so yeah she just climbed out of the pool, ran over to the edge of the deep end and got in. We were all frantically trying to get her to go to the shallow end to play but she didn't want to. And by that time dawn and I were grrraaaarh-ing with pretty low patience levels. but thankfully THE MAID SAVED US ahhahaahaha! My cousins' maid jumped into the pool and kept our youngest cousin busy. later dawn and I wanted to spend some time together in the bubbling jacuzzi so we quietly got out of the pool and dashed into the jacuzzi, but our youngest cousin spotted us and ran all the way to the jacuzzi to join us. I could have bit my own fingers out of frustration. We couldn't be left alone for even a single minute. After two more failed attempts to sneak into the jacuzzi, and three failed attempts to get into the deep end of the pool without our cousin spotting us, we decided to have some fun. heheheheh.
I never thought my cousins and I could be SOOOO mean!
Dawn, roy and I came up with a plan to sneak up to the "mountaintop jacuzzi" which was actually a very well-hidden jacuzzi on top of a man-made rocky hill. There was also a slide on the hill so we had to be careful not to be seen by our youngest cousin when she slid down. The three of us stayed in the other jacuzzi for some time, then crept out of the jacuzzi and sprinted to the mountaintop jacuzzi in three different routes. The other two managed to reach the jacuzzi, but I got spotted and followed by youngest cousin. So I had to entertain her for another ten minutes in a kiddie pool, and when I'd had enough of sliding on my back and stomach I told my cousin and the maid that I wanted to use the bathroom. (the maid winked at me! haha) Then I ran for my life! ran all the way up the rocky hill and jumped into the jacuzzi. hah my cousins were all really happy. We stayed there for quite some time and had to either keep our heads behind the mini waterfall or underwater, or conceal ourselves behind some kind of plant with huge leaves. See what we must do to find freedom! According to the maid our little cousin was desperately trying to find us but she couldn't so she kind of pouted and had no choice but to go and bathe. HAHAHAHAHAHA I AM MEAN! WE ARE MEAN! (:<
yup so after that we ate dinner blah blah blah and went home! aha!
yayyy looking forward to tomorrow's long-awaited banana gang meeting! Going to mum's club to swim+bowl+other stuff and eat lunch and come home to do crrazy video stuff and then eat pizza at night! HOORAY. bananas rock. being mean rocks. 1307 rocks.

END OF EOYs!
REJOICE! FREEDOM AT LONG LONG LOOOOONG LAST (:wahoo!
Friday was really cool cos that was the day our EOYs finally ended! yes math was okay lar. After the new south wales survey thing cheryl, celine, ilisa, valsoh and I went to bugis!! We had lunch at yoshinoya (and it's cheryl and ilisa's first time there) and then celine and ilisa went to watch a movie. So cheryl valsoh and I went around the mall helping valsoh look for a CD shop cos she wanted to buy her sister a present. I bought leng's present too (but i'm NOT telling) and after walking around for some time we found sembawang CD shop in the place where you have to cross a bridge to get there. The open concept of the mall is nice. It seems like you're outdoors but actually you're not.... just that loads of light keep shining in through the transparent windows. Ah. The funniest yet most infuriating thing happened to us in the toilet.
The three of us were queueing up when the old toilet cleaner started scolding us in hokkien.
She accused us of wasting her time (and the other people in the toilet's time) because she assumed that we had gone into the toilet to change into our outing clothes (we were in uniform and carrying plastic bags). stupid old lady.
The worst thing was that she scolded us for playing truant and loitering around the mall! Cheryl and valsoh didn't understand what she was saying, but I could cos she was speaking in hokkien. We didn't say anything but the probably-senile old woman kept glaring at us angrily and grumbling. That was the malu-est moment of all. I think she thought we didn't understand her! Stupid! I should have argued back at her, since I know quite a reasonable amount of crude hokkien heheheheheh. We kept on talking about the woman in the train. And we also saw loads of women wearing a weird combination of dark purple and dark blue! but the entire shopping trip was fun. loads of fun.
SATURDAY-
my best friend's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LENG!! <3<3<3 strawberry loves you loads.
my parents and I had breakfast at changi village, then went on the new changi coastal boardwalk. It's pretty cool and it wasn't hot at all because of the nice sea breeze. The three of us sat down at this short flight of steps where you can get so close to the water and watch the waves. I got so hypnotised by the water that I almost fell. ahahahaha. Dad and I thought that there were sharks or dolphins in the water because of a protrusion in the water that resembled a pair of fins, until we realised there weren't sharks or dolphins in singapore waters but only ROCKS. It was a sharp rock sticking out of the sea. bleh. Then we walked on for a really long long distance and we actually went very very near to old changi hospital (which dad and I were super enthu about exploring, but mum didn't want to). So mum was so exasperated that she said, "Aiya, since both of you like to explore haunted places so much then I might as well book a ghost tour for you la. 12 midnight okay." haha mum is so funny (: The kelong walk was fun too, because we saw loads of sticks and stilts and trees and hornets and SEASHELLS! We finished the whole walk in about two hours! That includes walking from the food center to the end of the walk and back to the food center again okay! Ah at least I had my fair share of exercise. I feel so much thinner!
Then we went to river view hotel with my aunt and grandma. The buffet lunch was incredible! There were cold dishes and spanish and indian and chinese and western and japanese and all sorts of food! We ate there for two hours or so, but honestly I didn't eat a lot. Just tried one of everything. But I kept eating the sausages, banana and raisin pudding and OYSTERS! oysters are great man. The best part was the shell cos it's so nice and shiny!!!
After lunch we went to vivo city to walk around and explore, but it was so crowded I almost suffocated! Mum made me try on some very very weird and short dresses for my cousin's wedding and piano teacher's concert, but the dresses were so short and I looked very odd and fat in them. Can't imagine myself in something that doesnt have a sleeve! NEVER! I tried on the dress which was super low cut and no sleeve and I burst out crying. hahaha! my aunt was laughing away. haha. So I made a promise to myself that I'd never wear anything without sleeves unless I had a cardigan or a really long sweater to go with it. yuck yuck yuck!
We had dinner at the teochew porridge stall in joo chiat and all I ate was half a bowl of porridge and half a bowl of salted vegetables. Then we went home! of course lar then where else? haha.
saturday was the first time in more than half a year that I actually went out for more than five hours! WHAT FUN FUN FUN FUN! FREEDOM iS FUN!
and TODAY!
after church I went shopping with my cousins and other church friends went to tampines mall and century. Everyone went different ways so there were only four of us left, my three cousins deb pris and chloe and I. So we spent most of the time taking neoprints (and designing them!!). AND I FINALLY SPENT MY BIRTHDAY MONEY!
I happened to bring my birthday money with me so I went to the game shop to buy harry potter and the goblet of fire (nintendo DS) and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon blue rescue team (nintendo DS). Hooray they gave me discount for the games and also discount for the pokemon mystery dungeon nintendo power guide book! WAHAHAHAHAHAHA finally!! (:
see! see how fun it is when EOYs are over! FREEDOM!!! :)

EOYs coming...
Today was a typical boring muggerized weekend where I spent nearly the whole day trying to understand POLITICS. merger and seperation was like, WHOA, especially seperation. seperation is a killer! bleargh! So after finishing history at about 6.30pm my maid aisha and I started playing catching with phoebe. Phoebe just hates it when we run our fingers across the floor. she growls and pounces on our fingers as if she's trying to catch spiders or something.
NO MORE RS TILL NEXT YEAR! HOORAY!!
yesterday was really fun! kiwi and I stayed back to finish sticking all the post-its and writing our names on the RS report. We didn't have a good black marker which didn't smudge, so we had to use my PURPLE zigg pen to write our names on the file containing our report instead.
kiwi thinks purple's a WONDERFUL colour!
Then we went down to staff room @ anderson to submit our report and portfolio to our mentor, mrs yap. We tried to call her on her extension about a hundred million times but we couldn't reach her. Quite surprisingly no one answered our call too! Then we spotted another CAP teacher, ms ong, sitting at the bench with some sec 1s nearby so we decided to just wait until she was done and ask her if she could help us put our report and portfolio on mrs yap's table. what a looooooong wait. karishma and sujin were there too but sujin left after some time. finally after ms ong was done kiwi and I sort of nervously went up to ask her about the report and she helped us put them on our mentor's table! NO MORE RS! HOORAY!
kiwi karishma and I walked up to get karishma's bag from the library and we were talking about how none of us got a really good sleep on thursday night ('cos of chionging RS reports). Then I met cheryl and xiner at the foyer where we waited and waited and waited for moony and raisin to arrive. The five of us went out for lunch at far east!! Cheryl and I went to subway (my first time at subway!!!!) to eat while the rest went to the coffeeshop upstairs. SUBWAY IS COOL! especially the honey mustard sauce and the white chip cookies. thanks CHERELLE for introducing me to subway. wahahahahaha! We went up to meet the rest and as we were leaving the coffeeshop the huge plastic bag containing old class decorations and scrap paper and remnants of my chinese PT (salvaged from the bottom of my table) which I was carrying accidentally knocked down a chair! And i only realised it when we'd left the shop and heard a BANG and loads of curious stares from the other people in the shop. OOPS SORRY! (:
Raisin and I sang the mr bean song when we were going down the lift! hooray for the bean choir!
We saw this very weird guy with bright pink hair on the escalator. yuck yuck yuck! pink hair!
after that cheryl and I went home together (coz we both live quite near each other. bedok-tampines?) on the MRT and it was really nice of cheryl to type out some useful romeo and juliet quotes (which ms chen gave her class) for xiner and I! THANK YOU LOADS!
when I went home I decided to go and jog and hula hoop in the living room for a while so I changed into my shorts and tshirt. But when I was still in my room mum kept marvelling at how wonderfully wonderful it was to take a good nap by ooh-ing and aah-ing on wow-ing very loudly while on her bed, so I got tempted and decided that a 5-minute nap wouldn't do any harm... The next thing I knew, I was on the extreme right hand side of the bed, holding my jirachi plushie with one finger and watching as the clock struck 8. I SLEPT FOR THREE HOURS. ohmygosh!
I quickly went down to exercise a bit even though my parents were already having dinner, and so I had a very very very long dinner at about 9pm and played harry potter on nintendo dslite for the rest of the evening. AND THEN i watched a bit of TV (a show where this woman can talk to ghosts) before taking a bath and sleeping at the incredibly early hour of 11.45pm!
ta-da!
back to mugging, bye!
7 DAYS TO BESTIE BANANA'S BIRTHDAY!! xD

EOYs!
bleargh, EOY stress lar!i was looking at my last year's history PT and it was just HORRIBLE. last year's eng hist geog stuff are very interesting.
did I have a productive weekend? Spent most of the time frantically mugging history, physics and lit.
which is HDB and MERGER+KINEMATICS AND DYNAMICS+ROMEO AND JULIET= mug.
hooray, I restarted my whole harrypotter and the prisoner of azkaban game. playing it on the ds lite is quite cool I guess. But my nasty fingers keep crawling over to the side to reach for the stylus!
i will recount what happened on friday because what happened on friday was SO INTERESTING!
friday-
MEP TEST:
NOOOOOOO! okay so most of it was hard. The essay was easy but there wasn't enough time to write EVERYTHING about jazz. There are so many genres and stuff to write!! One of the listening passages nearly killed me.
school was pretty enjoyable on friday! I didn't prepare for Lit FA at all but at least I managed to give three quotes and finished the whole thing. yay yay yay (:
ENGLISH!
English was super fun (because the BAPOKS made it fun)!! AIDA AND RAISIN AH. we're always laughing during group discussions, especially ENGLISH grp discussions. we were laughing at that THING, the thing we'd been laughing about for many many many english lessons! That was the second time I laughed so hard that I started crying. it's super embarrassing to look at ms chen whenever she comes to check on our group's progress, with my eyes all red and teary. My face was all wet and kim and raisin couldn't stop laughing!! Among the six of us karishma's the most composed and calm one. weesian doesnt laugh as frequently as me BUT BUT BUT when she laughs it's super funny!! she starts laughing and laughing in that funny hysterically sort of way and when she laughs aida and I start laughing and then raisin and kim will start laughing (if they see us)!! It's a chain reaction. Just like last year when my group kept laughing non-stop during history and geog! Most of the time it was xiaoyan and mostly magdaBOON who made me laugh okay.
PE was quite fun too because we played something like lao ying zhua xiao ji... Dorcas couldn't catch anyone!! and kayleigh and yian got hurt too.. so GET WELL SOON YOU TWO (:
MATH
no comments. i refuse to comment!
ASSEMBLY!
yay assembly was the best. The sec 2s got to sit on chairs and the sec1s were stuck up at the gallery or on the floor. HAH. the good thing about not being in sec 1. We were busy studying gamelan and jazz for the MEP test during assembly and I read valsoh's big-empty-head comic!
yeah and after that it was MEP test, and after MEP test I went home and slacked the night away.
darn I better go finish studying for physics SPA tomorrow or else i'm dead.
a nice photo to put up!
honey stars is the yummiest cereal in the world! used to feed loads of it to my grandpa's dog before she died. (:

random
I think I'm becoming randomized due to the large amounts of work that keeps coming in. GRAH.history rocks. which is really saying something, considering the fact that i've never been really good at history.
my thighs feel like there are springs in them, especially watching this aerobics video on TV just now.
The best thing is that MY POTTER FEVER IS BACK! thanks to my funkaye RS group! Last sunday we went to kiwi's house to watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for RS. I watched the whole DVD almost every day (but only for like 5 minutes or so) after that. And the best best best thing was that I spent seven hours watching the whole show. It was really comical 'cos I was analysing the film. I had to practically break the whole film apart into very tiny sections, typing down the details of the setting, sequence of events and stuff like that. Hooray, I can memorize all of Voldemort's lines. woot kayleigh's analysing the BOOK and kiwi and I are going to do comparisons between the film and book tomorrow. RS, RS, RS. sometimes RS is quite fun, especially if you get to analyse a film and book you really really really are nuts about.
and now for a very random picture:
the carpark at my house. can see it from my bedroom. Oh wow I see my dad's silver van. do you? :D
