hooray

HOORAY i'll be finishing my RS work in an hour's time! oohlala.
i watched harry potter again last night for RS. and my mum watched it too and we were both super sad when amos diggory came out and saw his son dead-ed.
and yesterday xiaozu was super fun! practically laughing myself silly!
chewlin, jiaqian and I decided to renact some very memorable harry potter scenes during xiaozu! I was voldemort, jiaqian was wormtail and chewlin was harry. WAHA. We kept changing roles! chewlin and I got BIMBO WANDS which were actually just very bright pink zigg pens. jiaqian's erm "wand" was a red pen. So we decided to act out the graveyard scene where harry witnesses the return of voldemort.
me: hold out your arm, wormtail.
jiaqian: oh thank you thank you master!
me: the other arm la!
jiaqian: chey! [holds out the other arm with a dark mark on it]
me: [starts jabbing jiaqian's hand with the bimbo wand]

then we did WIZARD DUELLING in the classroom! harry VS malfoy! and we did a demo of how a really good duel should be like.
yuyue: 1,2,3!
[jiaqian and I raise our wands and glare at each other]
me: scared, potter?
jiaqian: you wish!
and then we started screaming spells at each other. haha! We were trying to figure out how to do the parseltongue line and that was really cool. Wow, at least i can speak a few lines of parseltongue. ahems.

lit pt!

i will now start this post with a "hello! isn't it such a bright and sunny night today?"
HELLO ISNT IT SUCH A BRIGHT AND SUNNY NIGHT TODAY?

ANYWAY yesterday zaff, charlotte, willette and I went to xinqi's house to do lit pt! So fun!
Zaff and I went up together and at first we both forgot which floor xinqi's house was on (it was the 12th floor) so out of desperation and craziness we started pressing the buttons for the 2nd, 5th and 10th floor. Then when the lift door was about to shut at the 5th floor zaff suddenly said "O SHUT THE DOOR!!" in such a piteous distraught juliet-like voice (cos she's acting as Juliet for our lit presentation). WAHAHAHA ZAFF ARGH! Then when we stepped out of the lift landing of the CORRECT floor we immediately caught sight of a unit with a girl reading right in front of the door and we thought that that was xinqi's house even though we knew that it was the WRONG DOOR NUMBER! We were peering at the girl and she started staring at us as if we were nuts so we ran off in another direction. Then we realised that we'd run into a dead end so we ran in the opposite direction and finally we reached xinqi's house. we are so blur.
xinqi's house is so nice! It's a 2-storey flat just like mine!! Her house has a lot of wooden tribal African stuff, like poison darts, african masks and this really cool canvas painting. And her house has plenty of fish. There's one whole tank of blue and orange and ALBINO (yes, WHITE ALBINO FISH) fish, and sucker fish and big old fish and baby fish which were products of xinqi's mass fish-breeding. Charlotte was pretty concerned about the overpopulation of fish 'cos she said "WAH, OVERCROWDED ALREADY LAH!" five times. or maybe more than that? Char's a potential oceanologist or whatever you call that occupation. We all stared at that tank of fish and marvelled at the albino fish for more than 15 minutes until someone realised that we were slacking off. Zaff is really mad la. She put her finger on the edge of the water and the fish all swam up to bite it! haha zaff!
Xinqi and zaff and I had a really fun time rehearsing our Act 4 Scene 1. Xinqi's supposed to touch zaff's face and i CANT imagine what's gonna happen on the presentation day. Zaff I know you love to laff but dont laff or else i'll give you a baff! After xinqi (who plays Paris) exits the scene, Zaff's supposed to run over to me (i'm playing friar lawrence) and sob, "O SHUT THE DOOR ETC ETC PAST HOPE PAST CURE PAST HELP!" and gradually kneel down at my feet. EHEHE. The problem was that zaff kept on stepping on my toes every time we rehearsed it. There was one part where zaff stepped on my toes, and after that I had to run over to the table and quickly bend over to make my "sleeping draught". And when I bent down I suddenly collapsed over to one side 'cos my right knee patella or whatever bone suddenly got lodged off. Which sent all of us laughing and laughing and laughing. Thanks to Xinqi and her brilliant idea, Friar Lawrence now has a NEW SLEEPING DRAUGHT that is twice more effective (which means Juliet sleeps for two-and-forty-hours-multiplied-by-two)! The "potion" I had to make is made up of a 2.5ml scoop of powdered lozenges, the kind that fizzes up in water, Orange coloured food dye, water, and of course. XINQI'S MOM'S BATH SALT. all that fizzing in a test tube. and friar gives it to Juliet to drink. oohlala our lit PT group is FUN!
ZAFF OUR ADDAMS FAMILY STRAP SONG TOTALLY ROCKS. we must show aida. (:

and when i got home I spent the entire night watching Andrew Lloyd Webber's wonderful famous funniest best musical in the world- Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat!
OH MY GOSH i love that musical sooo much! After trying to get the DVD for almost 5 years, of course i'd be very excited to watch it! So I slacked the whole night watching Joseph and spent three hours studying Jap. good job, octeo. good job for SLACKING.
but joseph is NICE! IRRESISTABLE LAARRR. the Benjamin Calypso and Close Every Door are my fave songs man. Oh yes, it's true, Benjamin is straighter than the big bamboo!

OH MAN BACK TO WORK NOW. AFTER 30 MINUTES OF SLACKING.

jap oral

JAP ORALS TODAY WAS FUN FUN FUN!
but very scary and not to mentioned nerve-wrecking.
kiwi and I went to junction 8 for lunch and after spending almost 20 minutes searching high and low for pastamania, we decided to eat at mos burger instead. hah kiwi's first time at mos burger was a GOOD ONE. heh. i love you kiwi. i love kayleigh kiwi and me= kilirie!
kiwi and I re-created and erm revitalised the L song. ahem. see kiwi, who says I don't blog about you? (:
jap orals. I stammered twice during my passage. I stammered thrice during my speech. I didn't really know how to answer one of the questions! Haha kunhang's best-ice-skater-in-rg was super funny. And come to think of it, everyone who entered the room was totally WHITE and everyone who exited the room was totally RED. Yup even the teacher's face, but that was because of make-up.
yesterday.
my parents and I went to the airport to see cexiang off at around 8.45pm. and to my surprise someone who said she couldn't make it was there too! The someone who got stuck in the lift on wednesday, waha! (: ALL THE BEST CEXIANG. and you must must must remember bonkers the monkey will miss bonkies the monkey too. waha. (:

i miss my sotong val soh! WAAAAH...

happy birthday auntie joy! the first maid who took really good care of me until I was six years old! if you're somewhere out there I hope you'll remember val, the little girl who you used to take care of and play nintendo games with 8 years ago.
I reeeeally really wish I could talk to you again! ARGH.
yeeeaaap this post is once again just for auntie joy.. have a very happy forty-something birthday okay, no matter where you are, be it your home in the philippines or in america with your new husband (if you really did marry him, like what you told mum and i on the phone when I was seven), you'll always be a very very special person to me! <3<3<3

im back

HI I'M BACK!
with a pretty short post. well, at least i bother to post, right?
friday: assembly was chao1 ji2 wu2 di2 funny! Valsoh yian and I were laughing ourselves silly when the teachers went up to dance!! The most entertaining friday assembly ever!
For some reason, valsoh's crazy over Cow and Chicken (a funny cartoon involving two humans who had a cow and a chicken for children =_=) and she says COW in such a flirtatious way.. I'm CHICKEEEN! mama had a chicken! mama had a cow! haha (:
also had a CAP drama-writing workshop. kiwan creates WEIRD WEIRD characters!!!
i had church chat at night. Not many people came over so I ended up looking after the dog and teaching my church friend how to catch sudowoodo and smeargle in battle frontier.

saturday: nothing, except that i slacked the entire day. All i did was jap oral practice, history notes, english book review and some other stuff. i'm so happy that I did jian3 bao4 but I suppose zhang lao shi's going to scold me tomorrow anyway.

there was a guest speaker today at church. The best part was that deb pris and I couldn't find somewhere very erm noiseless to pray, and the pastor's room was taken, so we ended up squeezing together behind the small clavinova praying and referring to the church bulletin at the same time... WOW but that was great anyway! xD
sigh. agogo didn't come today. Good thing she didn't come, or she'd be driven crazy by kenneth. crazy kenneth. crazy kenneth made crazy octeo laugh and laugh and laugh and LAUGH NON-STOP. It all started when we went to ikea for lunch and a bit of shopping. We saw something all around and kenneth just HAD to keep on emphasizing how those somethings wouldn't fit the shopping trolleys. GRRRARH. When he got off he wrote an sms to me saying that he'd met one of those somethings at the MRT station and the something was trying to squeeze through the ticketing booth. WAHAHAHAHAHA.
I laughed so hard today that my cheeks are all sore. I do hope that kenneth has even sorer cheeks because HE'S THE ONE WHO KEPT LAUGHING AND LAUGHING AND MADE ME LAUGH NON-STOP!!!!!

Today's quite a good day.
because I finished Saving Fish From Drowning!! I can finally do my book review!
but FIRST I have to do jian bao. THEN i have to do something else er what was that? oh yeah, philo. We're doing this euthanasia presentation tomorrow and it just so happens that by a stroke of good luck, the side our group has to take is AGAINST euthanasia. I think those doing FOR euthanasia will have a much easier time.

I've just finished a 1.8km run and I feel super high right now!
Come to think of it I've received loads of money for my birthday (ang pows la). So I shall be nice and treat myself to some goodies which have actually been part of my lengthy wishlist for ages.
1) a new kjv bible. waha I want one so badly but then I have no time even to just make a trip to the nearest christian bookroom to get one xD
2) a nice farewell gift for cx who's leaving pretty soon (oh, no.)
3) a robot which can do all my homework for me (oh, yes, but thats not exactly possible)

On the way back from church agogo and I were discussing about how to celebrate SOMEONE'S birthday (in OCTOBER heheheheh) and we were thinking of making another of our Susu and Papaya videos. just that this time, Susu would have already gone for a plastic surgery gone horribly wrong so she'll be played by agogo instead of me! waha. we were laughing at how fang was always the behind-the-scenes makeup person who made very funny guest appearances in our videos.. like the time she guest-starred as a news reader and she got stuck in the chair because she used it as a make-believe TV frame!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR DADDY! <3
Sorry for not updating for sooooooo long, but I was so busy and tired that when I got home I simply didn't feel like blogging (rapid movement of the fingers when typing mah).
So here's what I did during the holidays (starting from saturday)
Saturday: We did CIP at Bukit Gombak Stadium. I can understand why they chose that particular stadium, an International Track and Field meet was being held there so naturally they'd want to choose a very scenic place with a lot of trees and flowers and greenery to give the competitors from foreign countries a very good impression of Singapore. Well yeah it was very scenic, you can see part of the guilin from the stadium, and it's practically surrounded by trees and short hills. And it's atop a hill itself, opposite the MRT station. We had to carry baskets containing the competitors' belongings from the starting line of the track to the other end, then run back again to the starting line for the next batch of competitors. Thank you weixian and lulu for the water and orange juice! GRARRH now I have a really bad heat rash all over my back and left arm. Yes, it's already Wednesday but the rashes just won't go away quickly!
After CIP dorcas, salmon, valsoh and I took the MRT all the way to Changi Airport to see dee off. I LOVE THE CHANGI AIRPORT MRT STATION. dorcas says that taufik and rui en did the national day song MV in the airport. wow good memory leh. After that chiobu felicia jo kim weesian and many others met up at the airport and we went outside the departure hall (the drop-off point) to do RAFFLES CHEERS just for dee! (: All the best, dee, we love you!

Sunday: My family went out with my aunt and grandma. oh and my maid, aisha, went along too. Initially we'd planned to have dinner at Long Beach at east coast park but there was a massive jam near east coast so we couldn't wait any longer. Anyway we went to eat at a sudanese restaurant at the airport.
The waiter there is so cute and hot. (:
We went jalan-jalan-ing at Terminal 2 and dad did this really stupid but cute and funny SLOW MOTION thing. So dad and I were like running in very slow motion towards mum and ahma and my grandma was so shocked when dad appeared right behind her. haha my funny family (:

Monday: POETRY SLAM WORKSHOP! WHEN I SAY POETRY, YOU SAY ROCKS! POETRY ROCKS! POETRY ROCKS! (:
Woohoo three people from every sec2 class were selected by their teachers or classes to attend the poetry slam workshop at school. Then at the end of the year, these students are going to have to teach the rest of their classes how to do proper choral speaking for the end of year choral speaking competitino held on drama nite. (:
The teachers were really cool, and I love my group! Consists of three people from each of the first four classes- 201 202 203 and 204. We are a happy bunch! erika aera jieying weesian karishma me cherylsaw reshmi zan wala stuti and lyn! WAHAHAHA. We're the most HIGH and FUNKAYE group, we're the AHMAS! We created a poem which won the first prize in our mini poetry slam competition... we were competing with two other groups lar.

Tuesday: Nothing exciting happened until TUITION. was having math tuition with yf and we were doing congruency until cx came and joined the fun! So now yf knows who zoferous, bonkers and tifone are. Plus the long stuffed banana sitting on top of the piano. YES I BOUGHT THAT BANANA FOR BONKERS. (: too bad cx's leaving for cardiff soon. all the best, cx and thanks for making math much much much more enjoyable. <-- (look at the alliteration there!) Sigh. cx you're one of the bravest people i know. jiayou jiayou jiayou! (:

TODAY IS WEDNESDAY.
I haven't done MEP PT yet. But i've already read the baroque magazines that mrs tan lent me. And well I'm supposed to finish the rest of my stupid RS graphs today, plus the analysis of data. And i'm supposed to finish reading romeo and juliet TONIGHT. TONIGHT.
And i'm supposed to finish reading Saving Fish From Drowning by FRIDAY.

teachers' day!

teachers' day in rg was fun!
we did a very horrible ACES day in the morning (the lead dancers were quite blur for some reason). then we watched the teachers' day concert. It was more or less the same as the previous year's concert, except that there were much nicer items this year. My favourite was the skit (the month after april or the month of before june!) and the ringers' item. the pinky and the brain brain brain brain brain! aida weesian and I are always singing that song in class xD
valsoh and I went to distribute presents with ruixin xinyi and some others.
can't believe we actually bought mr mizar a shirt.
can't believe I bought a handbag for mrskoh.
can't believe I didn't give anything to two of my teachers.
then we met mich and yian and we went to give misstay presents.

a LONG LONG time later, mich and I left to visit our pri schools (we're not from the same pri sch by the way).
I took a taxi back to RSS with kalya... sorry to make you wait so long but I did warn you first heheh!
RSS is so different now. Somehow it just feels so different, and other than the teachers I knew the whole place was really foreign to me. I went to the hall to meet my mum and the teachers first and I saw xielaoshi... yeah one of the RSS people i miss most, apart from the banana gang.
I met up with loads of the 6/1 people in xielaoshi's classroom... really great to see people like lili qianhui alison shihui yilin and everyone else. We called miss sng to wish her happy teachers day and only after a few calls she finally picked up the phone. bleh.
Finally after almost half a year, the banana gang managed to meet up as a WHOLE erm basket of fruits. Mum treated the four of us and two of her ex students to pizza and we had a really fun time talking and just being together. We were playing with leng's wonderful new phone and took very spastic photos!! After leng left baofang agogo and I stayed in the staff room but we didn't really talk to xielaoshi with the rest of the class. we walked around the school...
AND STARTED SPLASHING WATER AT ONE ANOTHER.
We were on our way to the canteen to get a drink when I decided to pretend to splash water at agogo. Unfortunately lots of water splashed out of my bottle when I was shaking it so there was water dripping down the middle of agogo's blouse... then i decided to splash some down my shirt and baofang splashed some down her shirt too. You can imagine how weird it is to see three crazy girls in different school uniforms with water dripping down their shirts. we're mad bananas anyway! (:
Gordon, wen tian xiang and I went down to mr ong's office to visit him. sigh he's retiring next year. after that RSS will be even more foreign. Wen tian xiang hasn't grown much taller but he's already so tall so that's okay. gordon is catching up on him... Now i'm the shortest!! gordon was so much shorter than me (like up to my ear or even shorter than that) in pri 6 but now he's taller than me by one head. GRRRR stupid growth spurts!
After talking to mr ong gordon and I went back to my mum's staff room to eat chocolate cake... We were listening to the mrbrownshow national day rally podcast (MEE SIAM MAI HUM MAI HUM MAI HUM!). Then xielaoshi came in and I gave her a very funny present- a pair of pink flip flops. and a card.
that's pretty much my teachers' day.
I MISS RSS AND THE BANANAS! (:

dee's leaving tomorrow. some of the 202ers are probably going to changi airport to see dee off tomorrow after CIP. ALL THE BEST DEE!
