Dee's farewell party!

202 is love.
After nearly two weeks of preparation and mass emails.
Dee's farewell party yesterday was a BLAST. We DID make it a meaningful one for her!
Straight after we'd finished with our chinese test (crazy shevaun rushing me like mad), shevaun, valsoh and I rushed out of the classroom at around 1pm to find mr desouza at the lab. The pizza which mr dsz ordered still hadn't arrived yet and just as the four of us (and fizzie) were making our way down to the staircase to collect the cutlery and food from the staff room, mrs koh came hurrying along and told mr d that she'd help him get the stuff instead. Mrs koh spilled tea all over the plastic covering the RGS bear we bought for dee, so once she had gone into the staff room, fizz and i began wiping it hurriedly and it was kind of awkward to stand right outside the staff room.
Shevaun and I were chasing mr desouza down the stairs and mrs koh caught us shouting at him and before she could say anything we were running down like crazy. All that for six boxes of pizza and a bag of cutlery. haha! (:
The party was so fun!!! They were playing If We Hold on Together and some high sch musical songs. mrmizar and miss chen came too. Dee made a speech specially for all of us and we cut the two 1.3kg chocolate cakes with her and we took class photos and WE SMEARED CHOCOLATE ON DEE'S CHEEKS! :P
We'll miss you dee! Thanks for being part of the 102 AND 202 family!! All the best!!

I'm too excited to do anything and i've just finished a long day of third lang and tuition. Practically slept through the first half of jap lesson but thankfully i managed to answer all of sensei's questions. (:

the reason behind my url (;

this is a bit random, so please bear with me.

in this very short post, i shall reveal the reason behind my weird blog url!
i created my blog when I was but an innocent young sec one who didn't know how to choose some cool url.
and at that time I was really nuts about wilber pan and 5566. Still like them now but not so fanatic liao. see, i've matured!
will= wilber pan
strong will= resilience. a quality I admire.
5566= no need furthre elaboration.
wuha= a cool song by wilber pan. also the name of his third album.

i'm thinking of changing my blog url. Maybe I shouldn't since this url is so rojak yet unique!
my url is a palette of colours, a plate of rojak, a bowl of different types of mushrooms, a herd of different-coloured sheep, you get the picture. i'm still in the racial-harmony day mood!

Racial Harmony Day!!

oh yay i'm not that irritated by the neighbours anymore.
YESTERDAY WAS SUPER SUPER SUPER FUN.
Racial Harmony Day celebrations!
I changed out of my punjabi suit because I found it a bit too low-cut. I'm too accustomed to wearing very "high" shirts, and anyway most of the shirts and blouses in my wardrobe are collared.
We were late for morning assembly because we didn't hear the bell. Almost the whole class was late, but thankfully we weren't booked! what a merciful prefect!! (:
Anyway spending RHD with grace, karishma, kiwi, valsoh, dorcas and salmon was fun! too bad my lao po willette was helping out at the CO booth.
We played the rubber band game at the netball courts. I forgot the name of the game, but the objective is to conquer other rubber bands by landing your rubber band on top of the others' rubber bands. All of us won at least one game each, except for val soh.. Then we played HEART ATTACK. It was really fun coz there were five of us, and the only time I played heart attack was at valsoh's house with xiner, valsoh and charlotte. Valsoh keeps getting the opportunity to slap our pile of hands but thank goodness she doesn't slap very hard... Kiwi slapped us very hard and I think the prefects were wondering why our group was screaming and screaming. haha.
Kiwi and valsoh and I ate curry puffs! There was cotton candy at the Koi Pond but I didn't want to go there coz I can't stand the smell and taste of cotton candy.. It looks nice but for me it tastes quite unbearable coz it's too SWEET and STICKY. When i went out with my cousins last time I ate a bit of their cotton candy but I vomitted after that... only skinny people can afford to eat cotton candy.. my fats are piling up and i'm already as fat as a pig.
Oh.
BANGHRA AEROBICS ROCKED.
We did the aerobics for one whole hour and there were even teachers doing it too. And we saw mr dsz enthusiastically dancing the aerobics and he can dance well!! Dorcas and I were like =_= but anyway we had fun doing the aerobics. Coz some of the moves were VERY funny.
We got another hour of food-tasting but we weren't very hungry so we just stayed in the canteen and took photos with dee.
After that we went upstairs to the classrooms to check out the different booths. We stayed in the CO booth the longest and Willette was playing her gaohu!! I met josselyn there too and i taught her how to play chang di on the zhongsuo... RGCO ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS!
Then there was the RHD concert. finally. We were sitting right behind the judges and valsoh, dorcas and I were observing them carefully. I wanted to take a photo of cindy sitting in the hall but valsoh's camera's memory card was full! 403's song is SUPER FUNNY.. the grandma says there are no black sheep song.. The sheep running around with paper bags on their heads and the grandma was very funny. I think the song was inspired by wu yue tian's zhi zu coz the chorus sounds a bit like the one in zhi zu. It seems like everyone's in love with High School Musical!! A lot of classes used "We're All in this Together" for the song and dance competition. 301 used that song and they got first prize.
We still had to do reflections AND clean up the class in front of mrs koh and mr dsz, which wasn't THAT boring. so mr dsz was asking our class what we learnt from racial harmony day.
mr dsz: "So. What did you learn from today's racial harmony day celebration?"
class: "We learnt banghra aerobics lor"
me: "Ya, we saw you dancing also!"
mr dsz: "You should be doing the aerobics, not watching me do it!"
Sigh. It would have been better if mrs koh danced the aerobics too!
After school I went to far east with a VERY big group. Xiner, eunice, charlotte, raisin, xinyi, karishma, salmon, bean, valsoh and dee. We had lunch in this little Malay restaurant and crapped about our mortals and stuff..
aha, turkish ice cream.
Raisin, charlotte, eunice, xiner and I went to get Turkish Ice Cream after lunch. The guy making the ice cream for us was so funny! He rang a bell on top of the ice cream booth with the cone, then he did some tricks with the ice cream. Xiner managed to catch the cone but the ice cream stuck to the scoop! The guy was really nice to eunice coz she's so small and cute, he just scooped out the ice cream and gave it to her without any tricks! And then charlotte sabo-ed me. "Eh, why you so biased one!! You give eunice so easy, must give her (she was referring to me) harder one!" So I got the hardest tricks. I was madly trying to catch the ice cream and laughing like crazy, but I got the BIGGEST ice cream. ahahaha.
Raisin, charlotte and I decided to scare dee, valsoh and bean with the MR BEAN THEME SONG. Recently our class has gone crazy over that song and we sing it very unexpectedly during almost every lesson. We sang it during chinese and zhang lao shi said that the singing gave her goosebumps. After dee, valsoh and bean went home, the rest of us went to wisma atria to walk around and shop.
That's when we formed the BEAN CHOIR.
Raisin and eunice and xiner and charlotte and I sang the bean song continuously. We sang it in the underpass, in the shops, in the lift and in the TOILET. Raisin did her very own MR BEAN SOLO in the toilet and we sang it outside the gents toilet!! Then we went to nike, Surfer Girl and TOPSHOP to sing the bean song and look for teachers' day gifts. We sang the bean song as we exited each shop.. we're all crazy over mr bean (:
Topshop sells some rather sicko stuff, like briefs with weird little belts on them and signs with some sicko (and ego) words on them. BEAN YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT THIS SHOP.
We were playing in the lifts too! We took the lift right down to the basement, then right up to the highest floor and down again. When we started singing the Mr bean song in the lift this woman in the same lift stared us as if we were crazy as she walked out of the lift. When we got to the highest floor it was scary and most of us were freaking out because we were so high up!
And we hummed mr bean on our way down again. We continued singing mrbean in the MRT station, and no one knew it was us because we're so good at singing with our mouths closed!
I LOVE THE MR BEAN SONG!
I think that song will soon be our class trademark song.

the stupid neighbours are the death of me.
for them, passing by my house is like passing by the gates of some ghastly graveyard.
wa lao, simple logic also dunno.
the issue at hand is NOT my dog, it's about the never-ending idiocy of the neighbours.
SIMPLE LOGIC.
1) you tease the dog, you provoke the dog. you provoke the dog, the dog bark at you.
SO
if you scared of dog barking at you, don't provoke the dog, don't tease the dog.

2) you scared of the dog, you run past my house and scream like hell. you scream like hell, the dog gets scared. the dog scared, the dog bark at you.
SO
you scared of dog barking at you, JUST WALK PAST MY HOUSE NORMALLY.

I wanna move somewhere far far away, where I will have no neighbours. just me my family my maid and my dog. I want to live on a deserted island where there's no neighbours like the ones i have now. can't blame some of them for being like that, it's not the adults, it's the kids that drive me up the wall. and it's not just my dog they've been provoking la. my other neighbour's dog also KENA before.
that's why it's good to be alone, because all people are just irritating sometimes. If you're alone, you get to be irritated with your irritating self without having to get even more irritated by other irritating people.
ahh. dreams.
If real pokemon existed in this world, that would be nice. Pokemon are nice.

hide and seek!

TODAY WAS THE MOST FUN SCHOOL DAY EVER.
here it goes!
the best part was philo. We all trudged to the library in a haiz-i-don't-wanna-go-philo mood, as usual, but when I finally managed to limp into the library with ummu shong and valsoh and willette, mr lim wasn't there! We'd been having philo lessons in a small room in the library (the one with sofas and a tv and a huge screen), so of course we turned up for philo at that very same room today. HOWEVER, like i said, mr lim wasn't there! So we settled down and waited.
and waited...
and waited some more..
until...
We decided to do something naughty.
As if by instinct, most of us began to duck. This was because we were sitting on the floor, and if we ducked, we'd be very cleverly hidden behind a long but low wooden shelf beside us.
"Everybody duck! Quick! Don't make noise!"
"People at the back! Dun make so much noise lar!"
after moments of muffled giggles and whispers, we all fell silent.
until raisin gave the alarm.
"HE'S COMING! HE'S WALKING TOWARDS THE DOOR!"
instantly, everybody ducked with astonishing agility.
everyone leaned forwards; those with hooded sweaters covered their heads with the hoods.
"eh, like camouflage liddat!"
"SHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
mr lim walked into the library and looked right across in the direction of the little room we were in. you can imagine how jin3 zhang1 we were. And after looking for a while, he retreated back out of the library.
"he'll come back to the library for sure, coz he probably thinks that we took another route up here."
everyone continued ducking for almost fifteen minutes. WHAT RESILIENCE! WHAT WONDERFUL CLASS SPIRIT! i love 202!
"shh he's coming he's coming!!"
everyone ducked again. mr lim craned his neck a little, and strode over to us. OH NO.
everyone was laughing like mad.. (who wouldn't!)
"i don't find this very funny, girls."
oh well, we were expecting that reaction. we had no choice but to go to the philo room, where we had our lesson in the end. BLAH.
END OF LESSON.
but not end of story.
we happened to meet our chinese teacher, zhang lao shi, as we were exiting the philo room.
"shi yang lao shi de ke ma?" (translation: it's mr yang's lesson right?)
we nodded.
unfortunately, the philo room door was left wide open.
"YAAAAAAANG LAO SHI!!"
that was simply the best!! Zhang lao shi called mr lim not by his surname, but by the second half of his chinese name! OH NO.
zhang lao shi told him that it was us who told her that his name was "yang lao shi", when it should have been "lin lao shi" instead. and she said something about this "yang lao shi" name showing our class' AFFECTION... if you know what i mean.. ohhh deeaarrrrrrrr.
and so i don't know what's going to become of us next philo lesson, but

I didn't go to school today!
yesterday I had a sharp piercing pain coursing through my whole left leg, from the knee cap right down to the ankle, when I was climbing the stairs in school. OUCH ><
It got so terrible when I got home! It was so painful that I had to hop out of the bathroom and eventually crawled to mum's room to do some leg treatment thing which didn't help much, unfortunately. spent two hours sleeping!!
And then I had a very bad running nose last night, which my mum "diagnosed" as flu.. i guess her diagnosis is pretty accurate coz when I went to the doctor today, she said that I was having a slight flu and my throat was red and now i'm coughing too! OUCH ><
and the doctor said that the bone in my knee cap was probably swollen. OUCH ><
OH NO!!!
no PE for one whole week!!!
always look on the bright side of life. *whistles*
valsoh and I get to take the lift for the next whole week! xD

hoooooray!

RGCO, YOU ROCK.
i'm feeling high today!
first and formost, i've just finished painting, cutting, pasting, drawing and writing the poster I made for my yue4 du2 bao4 gao4. (translation: chinese book review) The poster was about the famous classic The Little Prince, but it was a Chinese version of the book. croco gave that book to me and I actually spent the whole of primary six reading just seven chapters of that book.
the astounding thing is that I finished the whole book in a day, in two hours, while I was watching Green Forest, My Home with mum...
Spent the entire day drawing three of the asteroids mentioned in the book, the prince's asteroid, a desert for the background, the snake, and of course, the prince. I thank God for aisha. my dear darling maid. Or rather, my good friend. She's actually my best friend, having LIVED with me for about two years already. Aisha helped me colour all the asteroids, I did the watercolouring and outlining and she helped me cut most of the asteroids. and the prince too. Can't believe I spent SIX hours just doing that. It's really difficult. FINALLY I FINISHED IT FIFTEEN MINUTES AGO. I wrote in a very meaningful sentence from the book and added something really cliched and voila, my poster was done! xD
AND THEN.
I supported my second activity (actually, FOURTH, IF YOU COUNT THOSE TWO ACTIVITIES WHICH WERE CANCELLED)- Softball! I think i'm going to support on tuesday and weds too. YES SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES IS FUN, if the activity is in school.
It was fun because michy and serfer went along. I slopped soup all over my pinafore while eating and accidentally landed my unfinished slice of honeydew onto serfer's skirt! Sorry! anyway serfer is michy's sister. seryee. ya. HEEHAW.
felicia pitches really well!!
And it was on that day that I discovered how delicious honey stars, peach flavoured vitagen, ribena, cheese and pizza biscuits were. And I also discovered the number 52 written on a five-dollar note. And I learnt how to sing like Mr Bean.
AND THE BEST WAS...
CO CONCERT. RGCO ROCKS MY SOMEWHAT HIGH BUT NOT VERY HIGH SOCKS.
Shimin and claire and I played pepsi cola! And ganged up against shimin.
Momma and I got the circle seats and guess who we saw. Snoopy. We saw snoopy, and even my mum recognized him. I quickly covered my face behind my programme booklet (yes, thank God for that too!) and pretended to read it very very intently. More teachers filed in but fortunately they were all sitting more than five rows in front of me.
WOOTS! The chuida item ROCKED. yay for chuiguan! yay for suona! jiali, josselyn, chewmin and wen ting! Can't wait to play for SYF next year... I totally regret joining CO one year later than I should! CHANG DI WAS THE BEST. the conductor was mr tay and he's a legend! yeah well changdi has always been my favourite song coz it's very fun to play... (:
After concert I dashed out of the circle seat area (partly to get away from snoopy as quickly and discreetly as possible) and went backstage to look for the chuiguan people! hooray I gave jiali josselyn and chewmin flowers. (:
OHHHH C.O CONCERT WAS SO NICE!!!! although I wasn't helping out backstage or performing, it was fun. The best concert so far!

oh goodness me i'm going to kill myself for forgetting to ask the softball teacher whether i could support the softball match tmr. I need two more activities, TWO MORE! gah.
stupid swimming finals. I was SUPPOSED to go on tuesday afternoon, in fact, valsoh and I and loads of people in our class signed up but due to some unforseen circumstances regarding the sign-up sheet, we all couldn't go in the end. Stupid, right? The people in the morning were given a chance to go... From now on, I'm going to sign up for activities under the trusty old activity board. coz the sign up sheets in class are circulating round and round and some people either chuck it aside or lose it, so i guess.. haiz... I really need two more activities, if not, i'm dead meat!
THIS IS NOT MY LUCKY YEAR. neither is it val soh's. haha.
WE BOTH SIGNED UP FOR THE NEWS ON THE FRONT LINE THINGY BUT DURING THE HOLIDAYS, THE TEACHER SAID IT WAS CANCELLED OR SOMETHING. boo.
THEN,
WE BOTH SIGNED UP TO SUPPORT SWIMMING (AFTERNOON) AND WHAT HAPPENED? THE TEACHER SAID SHE DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY SIGN-UP SHEET FROM OUR CLASS SO WE DIDN'T GET TO GO IN THE END.
stupid stupid stupid! [madly pounds fists on the wall]
i'm going to make sure I get to support one softball match and another activity, even if it means that I have to miss at least one day of third lang and tuition OR piano! Or maybe even CCA if I don't have a choice. It's really difficult to choose a day that doesn't clash with ANYTHING, especially if you're busy FOUR DAYS A WEEK.

the latest, most updated version of the Nintendo DS.
Compatible with GBA game paks, with a pretty stylus, updated screen light settings and the e-reader compatibility. xD yay can still play pokemon emerald+LG+FR+ruby+sapphire on the DS.
I THANK THE PERSON WHO SLIPPED THE COURTS BROCHURE INTO MY LETTERBOX.
mum picked it up yesterday and asked, "eh val, this is the one right?"

I was totally freaking out when I saw the picture of a white Nintendo DS Lite on the brochure. And on the list of game paks going on offer, I found POKEMON TROZEI. instant hyperventilation. xD
HOORAY. mum says she'll buy the DS for me either on my birthday or next week or the week after that.. oh yay hooray for mum! "can lah, after all, you hardly ever shop for clothes and accessories..." yeaaaaaaap NINTENDO DS LITE, YOU'RE MINE!
well, it's still fun to play with the very old gameboys, like the green gameboy color in my drawer, and the broken gameboy advance (the horizontal one) which dorcas used when we were filiming computer studies. (:

I just remembered something.
Wednesday was the most fun geog lesson in the whole world.
mrs koh had just started on a new topic- Biomes. and she was teaching us about the world climate and how the climate affected natural vegetation.
HERE'S HOW THE FUN BEGAN.
mrs koh began talking about Coniferous trees and how they were EVERGREEN.

mrs koh: Anybody knows what "Evergreen" is?
someone: always green lor.
a while later...
mrs koh: Now, when I mention the term "Evergreen", what else comes to mind?
no one says anything.
until..
jingwei: Means they don't shed their leaves!
mrs koh: yes, she's on the right track!
here's the funny funny part.
mrs koh: has anyone of you experienced HAIR LOSS before?
everyone: yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrr..
mrs koh: let's say after your bath, or when you finish combing your hair, you'll find a LOOOT of hair dropped on the floor, right?
everyone: yeah yeah yeah!
mrs koh: BUT. let's say you hair never drop. Then suddenly, ALL YOUR HAIR DROP IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST.
mrs koh seems to have gained her momentum. she carries on in a jest.
mrs koh: Then, later, ALL GROW BACK IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.
hilarious.
mrs koh: That's what i mean by evergreen, the Coniferous trees don't shed all their leaves in one go, they shed them in different periods of time! Our hair also never drop so drastically right? So what do you call our hair??

Today is a special day for all of us, because it's Carbon Day.We have two new additions to the carbon family, michy, carbon-16, and the mysterious carbon-30 (who doesnt even know he/she is a carbon)
next saturday, 15 July, is Xenon Day.
21st July is The Anniversary of the Bonding of Anniemonium and Killium.
and.
30th July is a very special day too.
because it's Octeopus Shell Day! (octeopus-valence-shell day)
and of course it's a very very VERY special day

MOST IMPORTANTLY TODAY MARKS THE EVOLUTION OF MY BELOVED DRAGONAIR, INTO A SUPER DUPER HIGH ATTACK, HIGH DEFENSE, HIGH HP, PRACTICALLY HIGH STATUS, DRAGON-FLYING TYPE DRAGONITE!
i love you dragonite! After spending two hours trying to catch a dratini from Safari Zone, after training it all the way from level 16, and after seeing it evolve into dragonair, after those COUNTLESS BATTLES with the bikers and cue balls at Cycling Road, after those wacko battles with the pro-ded bird keepers near the Silence Bridge (or wadever you call it, but it's in between Fuchsia city and Lavender Town), after frantically spending tons on revives, power-ups and a high usage of the VS Seeker,
IT HAS EVOLVED.
i finally have a dragonite. My first-ever dragonite to be raised WITHOUT the help of the Missingno. Glitch (aka rare candy code). WOOTS. Experiment Dragonite complete! I SHALL include a Dragonite in my fire-red party next time. A dragonite would come in handy in defeating the Elite Four, except lorelei. YAY.
The euphoria from having a dragonite will probably last for a very VERY long time. I'm gonna keep this dragonite in my party instead of my snorlax. haha. Snorlax is very ma2 fan3 because of its super-low speed.

nothing much

today was super funny. Mrs koh was talking about EVERGREEN TREES and EVERBLACK HAIR. everblack hair which drop off in the month of August and grow back in December. eek like some monsoon seasons. haha. xD

this doesn't concern anyone in particular.
well. i've been a bit reflective on my self-identity.

I'm not that crazy on the inside. i'm not always usual light-hearted seafood family cheekopeh, or the wacko who goes around singing the Mr Bean opening. well not all the time.
dunno why, but these few days feeling a bit down and reflective.

just acceptance.
I feel like a little fallen leaf. Floating around, with nothing but the direction of the wind as my guide.

seafood family gathering!

I'm still feeling super high from that super FUNtastic seafood family gathering just now.
I feel kinda awful 'cause dorcas and I couldn't go to church today because we urgently had to do our filming.
BUT;
we had so much fun today! We've filmed most of the scenes and we got to have a loads of fun doing the bloopers and after filming the scenes for comp studies, we decided to have a bit of seafood-y fun at the void deck of my place.
grandpa annie anemone anemonium came VERY early today. I was changing when I received her sms and I was like rushing around like some kancheong spider trying to dress up and clean my room. We talked for quite a while in my piano room until we heard some giggling outside the door and when we popped our heads out to have a look, willette and dorcas were waiting there.
We decided that we weren't going to film our scenes in order because kiwi couldn't make it today ): I'm not sure if the others will agree, but I think we should meet up like next saturday or something so that we can re-film it all together. Coz we'll have to do loads of VIDEO EDITING later on don't forget. oh wellies this is just a point to consider. (:
There was one scene where we had to send a message to dorcas' handphone and everytime it rang, dorcas would have to pick it up and read the sms. WILLETTE AND ANNIE WERE LAUGHING LIKE CRAZY WHENEVER THEY HEARD THE RINGTONE. is it really funny? ah yes it is. hahahahahahaha. xD
We had canadian pizza for lunch, along with lasagna, chicken wings and garlic bread. and a whole bottle of pepsi. Over lunch we were discussing some really funny matters and some really serious matters and I guess we really let out our feelings during that conversation.
After lunch we went downstairs to film the park scene, where dorcas had to stand on top of a large pile of books. I was so worried that my precious chinese dictionary would get dirty when dorcas stepped on it, so willette and I rushed to the huge blue recycling bin to get a reasonably clean piece of paper to put on top of the dictionary.
AFTER that annie went home, so dorcas, willette, valsoh and I decided to fool around with the video camera for a while. AND HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED.
We were singing a lot of crappy (BUT UNORIGINALLY ORIGINAL) songs which dorcas, valsoh and I came up with last night during the SYF opening ceremony parade. And we recited the "Elements of Life" poem (ORGINALLY ORGINAL), which was created by willette and valsoh while I was trying to check the electrical conductivity of some substances for chem. =_=#
