finally i am free! free! muahahaha!

i feel so good! today i am FREE! I don't ever want to change my blog skin, even though i know there are TEMPTING 5566 templates around. oh no. the [double five double six] fire is starting to burn in me now... coz i am listening to 5566's Fang Shou Yi Bo! It's a great song man! The theme song for their new drama, Mr Fighting (Ge Dou Tian Wang). I LOVE IT! I'm gonna listen to it AGAIN! Wheeeeee!
This morning. I woke up so late and mom was nagging. so she switched on the TV in my room. then i managed to drag myself out of bed. Every morning, if mom doesnt turn on the TV, i won't be able to wake up. Coz there is this nice Chinese drama show every morning... haha. the lead role reminds me of hilary... for no reason.
Got on the bus, finished my bread and WRENCHED MY TEETH APART AGAIN to mumble lyrics to 5566 songs again. i just love Wa sha mi so much! It's my favourite song. i got too many fave songs anyway. Fell asleep right after shi tien got on the bus, and my head banged the window so hard that i woke up and nearly screamed. haha.... i think shi tien would haf gone deaf if i did that.
Sallywong used the free morning assembly period to teach geog. I was busy scribbling notes about lava and whatever plate tectonics information. sallywong is practically a walking geog encyclopedia. She can sort of regurgitate everything from books, and use amazing reasoning power. Haha. Next was higher chinese, we did an annotating test and i did ok for it. Whee I got the second highest in class for the HCL pai bi test! yay. morale-booster. Recess. i was secretly flitting my eyes around for hil but I couldnt find her. aw, too bad. anyway, after recess was the difficult physics EOI. Ruffles cried like siao coz she forgot to fill in the blanks for all the MCQ questions. May Miss Siu have mercy on Ruffles' soul. The most interesting lesson of the day was ENGLISH! I've loved english since i was in kindergarten. haha. probably explains why i am very strong in English. I AM THE LEGENDARY COMPO FREAK! haha. just kidding. Self praise is international disgrace, as li li would say. We were listening to this boring but funny Gay Heroes speech, and the speaker sounded like a man who was on the verge of puking.
Lower Sec Assembly. We were given an informative talk about eating disorders, like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa etc. Then the doctor showed us grotesque pictures of anorexic patients and their brains. When she asked, "Who's on a diet?" I raised both of my hands and screamed "ME ME ME!"... I am a real crackpot. I haf always wanted to look slim so I am on a HEALTHY diet. ok never mind.
After school, I heard the usual gossips about some bombastic AP kias in 102, but never participate coz I was doing my jap work. Lue Sensei is nice. But i still miss Lin Sensei, and i found out that she has a boy fren! woo hoo! rock on lin sensei!
Now here i am, staring at the computer screen, my fingers typing furiously. I hafta go!!!! or else i will not have time to fellowship with my parents and dog. See I am such a good little girl.

hmm hmm... HOMEWORK! Not just any homework, but PERFORMANCE TASKS! oh no oh no... Let me see, History PT, Physics PT, Literature PT. And a chinese essay (i hafta write to one of u three, probably yi ying) and some archaelogy worksheet plus a pile of math worksheets on ratio and percentage. AND! oh no... Speech and Drama assessment. I'm supposed to act as some goofy salesgirl who uses Tummitrim slimming products, and I have to show my "audience" how much weight I've lost since i took tummitrim and stuff like that. Think I'll bring measuring tape, and one of my mom's BIG and LOOSE jeans (duh rite mom's waist size is much bigger than mine).
Everything in class is going fine and fun too. Just yesterday I had a really tough composition test during Snoopy's lesson. found myself writing yet another tragic story and sobbing my way through the test. OK, so many many peeps found the exam difficult. honestly I thought it was sort of a breeze coz the questions given were darn easy: Include the line "Why was it so hard for me to do this?" and make sure your story revolves around that main line ALONE. Phew one test down, a ton more to go! My math is sorta improving, I think, and I find my best subjects in school would be English, Physics and Music. yayyy...
Ah, today. It was really fun and exciting.
let's start from the time I was in the school bus! hee hee... ok as usual i was listening to 5566 songs on my MP3(cant live without it) and kept on listening to Cun Zai and Without Your Love repeatedly, until I fell asleep and nearly sprained my neck because I'd accidentally knocked my oversized forehead against the window pane. OWCHH!!!! Somehow I always seem to wake up in time to pack up me stuff and get off the bus.
My neck was searing, but anyway I went back to my class, and the usual hubbub in class would commence. I was like, "WHAT?! MUST DO PLATE TECHTONICS WORKSHEET?" and "OMG I DIDN'T READ THAT KE WEN LEH! QUICK PASS ME THE TEXTBOOK!!" and things like that. The biggest "disaster" this morning was that many of us had forgotten to do noddy-ha's maths worksheet 3 and the dreaded geography plate techtonics worksheet, and everyone was going nuts, even the Student Leaders.
Higher Chinese lesson passed quickly... However the maths lesson.... :D hahaha.

HI!!! ok, so fast and I'm back again. Can't write much, I'm starving and I gotta run to dinner. OK! lemme tell ya something! ahem ahem SUSU (u know who right?) was on MC for more than a week, according to Mom. WHY? The reason is horrifically hilarious. Susu injured her leg, probably from wearing such high boots all the time. MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!
second.... I emailed zax and sam! And I'm feelin... zaxified and samified and tonified and jasonified and rionified!!! haha! I'll email rio next, coz i think he's more free than the rest of 5566. u noe u noe...
third... I went to hilary's blog! it was kind of a surprise coz I was searching for 5566 when suddenly hilary's blog address appeared in the Yahoo! search results.
REMINDER! If u want to email renfu, don't email to the addy which starts with fu....etc etc. Coz I tried it and the message sending failed coz I think that addy is REALLY PRIVATE! Ok let's not intrude 5566's privacy. I want to intrude YUN LENG'S PRIVACY! muahahaha...
And... fang fang it's nice that u wanna transfer to AHS! I'm sure you will make more friends there, and moreover, CHRISTINA will be there to totally tonify you!! If u come to RGS i will be there to zaxify u, and if you go to DHS agogo will jasonify you!!! hahaha ok that is kind of lame.

Best 5566 friends forever and ever! We ~exist~ for a wonderful purpose!

YUN LENG, BAO FANG AND YI YING

oh suddenly while I was listening to Fang Shou Yi Bo just now, I began to wonder how I ever came to like, or even know about 5566. I suppose the person who started it all, and, of course, the person I want to thank, is.... christina banana.
Ok it started like this: I HATED, I DESPISED, I LOATHED, chinese music. It was around early last year when my hatred for mandopop, and 5566, intensified. Yet I myself didn't know why or how I hated chinese music. The answer is plain PEER PRESSURE. That time agogo and I were already like best friends, but I didn't bother about christina or fang fang at all. In fact i had a bad impression of christina banana (SORRY! NOW I DON'T!!!). I think you guys know who Lim Ying is right? and graci foo, and michelle ong and the rest of them. I was just tagging along with people, doing what they liked, not giving a d*** of what I actually liked. That time I doubt I even had my own opinions of what they liked, and I was very obliging and sometimes allowed myself to be manipulated by them. So this went on, and I didn't even realise that I was under peer pressure's wrath until christina banana came along. Miss sng made leng sit beside me because she felt that leng couldn't concentrate. At first leng and I hardly talked to each other, until leng asked if she could borrow my pen, and I agreed. From then on, we started talking more often and I think we both shared lots of things in common. I remember during science and english lessons we never ever really concentrated.And then leng would make funny signs behind miss sng's back and things like that, and we had SO much fun together. AND THEN! Leng would talk about 5566 almost every day and I eventually got curious, so after the PSLE, I went to buy 5566's Cest Si Bon. After that I became an instant 5566 fan, out of my own free will. The story of bao fang is a very hilarious one, because I started to get to know fang some time in pri 5. I was standing right behind fang and I would sing the National Anthem in such a way that gusts of hot air would be blowing onto fang's neck, and she'd be fidgeting and trying hard not to laugh. I'd try to be funny even under the watchful snake-like eyes of miss sng and sometimes fang and I would end up laughing like crazy.
Then one year later, Amanda invited us to her bbq (that was a blast!) and leng and thought that giving li jiawei and ronald susilo a call would be really funny. We asked fang to join us and she agreed. So we tried calling li jiawei first but she wasn't home, so we called susilo instead. GANG HAO my dad decided to fetch the three of you home as well so we were sitting at the back seat of the van, talking to susilo and laughing our brains out. After that we became fast friends with bao fang, and we became closer towards the end of the year. I really liked that part when the three of you came to my house to discuss the sandwich-making contest and ended up playing most of the time. you guys really liked my dog!!!!!! haha... i wish we could go back to pri school...
and then u three are all such supportive frens... lurve ya all! ;D

Hooray today is a holiday! well only for my school (snigger snigger)... kekekeke... nothing much to do, except my History PT and a short chinese write-up on the local movie I Not Stupid. There's supposed to be some girls brigade group meeting but i ponteng it today... coz after yesterday's Mass Dance my arms and legs and neck are aching like mad. I couldn't even get down the stairs properly this morning. In the end I decided to slide down the stairs using my butt and now it hurts too! owchie!!!
Hahaha I can still remember what happened on Sunday night... I was sitting right at the back of the car, which was really squeezy, and talking to leng leng on the phone for a long time... It was super funny and we kept reminding each other about that horrible ru hua's banshee song: "wo de yi ke xin MUA MUA MUA MUA! xian gei yi ge ren MUA MUA MUA MUA!" Hey thanks Agogo for teaching me that song! I can't believe ru hua actually sang that to tony... So gross! She's really hideous and she can still have the nerve to say that she likes cute, handsome, chivalrous tony a lot! grrr... okok i admit I'm jealous... OK! Yeah then my da gu and grandmothers were talking so loudly in the car (well they're loud by nature) that leng could hear what they were toking about. And we talked about pa kacheng (slap backside) and the coming NKF SHOW!!!!! 5566 was gonna perform!! and poor me had to record the show because my family went to Yum Cha to give my gran a birthday treat... Haishhhh!!! But I really enjoyed the dinner, at at seven o'clock I was drinking my shark fin soup while making repeated phone calls to my maid to make sure that she had recorded the 5566 part. I think my dad was kind of annoyed coz he didn't know what was going on... He doesn't like people to be anxious about things (unless it's about someone passing away). Yeah then I was so pale because my maid wasn't home yet, and I was on the verge of tears!! I could feel my soup going up my gullet into my mouth and I wanted to panic, but didn't dare do so in front of my dad, or else i'd probably get a tight slap on the face. This is something that adults don't understand... HOWEVER my dad almost freaked out when my maid had once forgotten to record his MTV old songs show, coz his favourite singer was appearing on TV... hahaha...
Fortunately my maid DID remember to record the show on time, which was a great relief coz 5566 was the first to put up such a SPECTACULAR performance! So I did get to enjoy my dinner at Yum Cha and I still can't believe that I downed three heaping bowls of sharks fin soup and pork ribs!!
AHA! When I got home I didn't even bother to take off my socks. I immediately dashed up the stairs ran down the dark corridor (despite my fear of darkness) and practically stampeded into my room. I slammed the door excitedly, held my breath and played the tape. WAH SEH!!! 5566 was simply great! And while they were singing Fang Shou Yi Bo (that's the opening theme song for Mr Fighting) , I was jumping on the bed and the floor, rapping and singing shrilly!!!! I'm surprised mom didn't come in to ask what the blazes was going on, as she usually did. So I was like jumping in all directions, screaming "tian beng di lie wo bu zai hu...." until I almost collapsed... hahaha... Then when they ask us to take out our hand phones, I faithfully fished mine out as well and dialled the number with them... Next they sang CUN ZAI!!!! It's one of me fave songs. While they were singing I sang along with them too but this time I didn't jump that fast... I think that's partly the cause for my legs' muscle pains... I couldn't stop watching the 5566 part and even my mom said that Tony was really good. She has nicknames for all the 5566 members. She calls Tony "SHORTY", Zax is "LION-HAIR", Jason is "HANDSOME" and sam is "SISSY". Hahaha my mom says Tony is short, but his voice is the best and he is very matured. She says Zax is a good host, his voice is good too, but his hair looks like a lion's mane. She says Sam has a hoarse voice and looks a bit like a sissy and that Jason is the most handsome of them all, only that he's a little on the plump side. What wonderful descriptions.
Yeah then after that I had ANOTHER dream of 5566 but the next morning I had clean forgotten what it was all about. That's my third 5566 dream in sucession so I think I'm going 5566 crazy! AAAARGH!

Sports Fest ~fiEstA!~

Whoa I can't believe it. The Sports Fest today was a blast!!! Had a fitful sleep last night, didn't get enough sleep due to a horrid leaky nose. Urgh... I hope that doesn't happen to me tonight! Well early in the morning I followed dad to his office, and got to listen to the Pontianak ghost stories which were retold by Dad's malay worker. Those stories are simply ludicrous, but kinda thrilling. Anyway Dad and I went to the Toa Payoh HDB Hub (take note Li Jiawei lives VERY near there) for breakfast. We were scouting around for toilets and food centres, and ended up dining in McDonald's. Met a lot of Bucklians and Tarbetians there... NO NO NO! Tarbet is our worst enemy! hehehe....
I met GONG LAO SHI on the way back to the stadium! Arrrrgh she was so pretty! Too bad she's in Waddle house. awww... said goodbye to dad, then went to meet my 5566 fanatical friends.... yippeeee!! We had to rehearse for the House Mass Dance for TWO HOURS and during this period of time I almost fainted thrice. My head was spinning around and around and the next thing I knew was that I was squatting down on the dirty grass. My knees were covered in mud... yucky!!! However I felt much better after lunch and EVEN more energized upon meeting SNOOPY! he was dressed in the usual mr lim-style outfit- long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves folded up, and long POLO trousers. Fancy dressing so formally for a Sports Meet, when all the other teachers were donning track pants and t-shirts.
The Mass Dance was a huge sucess, and I managed to dance up to the Dance Committe's expectations. I think Richardson (my house yay!) did the best! duhhh!!! The rest of the time I was cheering myself hoarse and wearing my blue bandana the wrong way, and waving my blue streamers around as we watched the Richardsonian competitors race around the track. Well at least we beat TARBET in many areas, including CHEERS and the banner-painting contest! quack quack, tarbet! muahahahahaha!
I am so lembeh (tired), yet I am still here, staring fixedly at the computer screen, typing furiously... WHY AM I STILL HERE? hahaha... very difficult question. oh yeah coz I'm helping mom with some Income Tax form business. well I better go to bed now coz I'm nodding off already! goodnight byee!
and by the way, you should noe why I changed my blog song to CUN ZAI!!!!

renfu has weird dreams

ok... I have very weird dreams, especially on weekends (probably coz I get to sleep longer)... I think I dreamt that YUN LENG (hahahahaha quack quack) turned into a cute little puppy and refused to show herself... leng just kept on hiding in this small wooden hut in a forest and fang, agogo and I were trying to comfort her!! hahaha... then there's another bizarre dream which involved the horrible chiew zhi xin.... dreamt that snoopy was hospitalized, so I dragged leng, fang and agogo along to visit him... We went to Old Changi Hospital, u know, the haunted one?? (for more details please approach agogo's big brudder) Then on this old, creepy flight of stairs we met chiew zhi xin and her gang; they were glaring at us, and we simply ignored them. Then i rushed down the stairs to apologise to zhi xin and she stalked off huffily. Eh the rest of you were all really surprised by what I did, but anyway we walked into a classroom in the middle of the hospital. There was a small door concealed in the classroom and we all went in... to Snoopy's private ward. snoopy was lying on a bed and I was like, "mr lim are u ok?" and he didnt say anything. then after that I was sort of reciting sentences and when I recited, "then... he wept" Snoopy started snivelling and sobbing and I was horribly shocked!!! Well then I woke up... Bizzare right??
Last night I had a MUCH HAPPIER dream! I dreamt that after church, agogo and kenneth and I went to IMM shopping mall to see 5566. Surprisingly my dad and mom agreed to let us go! We quickly bought the 5566 Live In Taipei DVDs and went to the atrium. We were right in front of 5566 and tony was right in front of me!! Then he kept smiling at me!!! So the three of us watched 5566 sing. well I dreamt that they sang 2 songs, Fang Shou Yi Bo and Wa Sha mi... I was so happy that I was sobbing away and when they had finished singing, i was screaming myself hoarse!! So did agogo... i dreamt that she had suddenly fallen in love with Jason Hsu and she went bananas when she saw him! We quicly went to queue up to get our DVDs signed and we were the FIRST in line! So we got some time to talk to 5566 (dunno why)... Agogo kissed Jason on the cheek and (this is embarrassing) I told tony "I want to be your ZHUANG SHI" then he hug me for a long long time... Then we also talked to renfu and sam a lot (especially renfu!) and they actually sang us a bit of Wont Give Up!!!!! We got their HOME address and HOME TELEPHONE NUMBER and even... HP NUMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMGGGGG!!!!!!!!
Agogo and i were so darn happy that we were screaming and shrieking and crying and things like that! What a really blissful dream...
Oh leng leng I suppose you'd be really jealous if tony REALLY hugged me right?!! Well that won't happen, unless I become their manager or songwriter or something. But by that time they'll be in their forties or late thirties (not jason though)... Well never mind... I am a bizzzzzaaaarrrrrree dreamer!!! hee hee hee....

Sounds familiar right? Either you have heard timon and pumba singing it in the Lion King or you have heard jeannette and I singing it at the top of our voices last year. Come to think of it, I kind of miss jeannette. Miss her coz she is a really nice girl. I wonder how she's doing at Nanyang... Actually she appealed to get into RGS but the appeal was not sucessful. Too bad, maybe she can make another attempt next year. AGOGO! KEEP YOUR EARS WIDE OPEN FOR NEWS ABOUT APPEALING INTO SECONDARY SCHOOLS!
Yup, as u can see from my title I have NO WORRiES now! I feel carefree, like a caged bird let out into the great outdoors. (sorry for the chimness) Dear me my ingrown toenail's sore again. Better go to the doctor's if the pain continues. The happiest thing in my RGS school life happened yesterday, thursday, 7 April 2005! Mark this day in your calendars, everyone! Hahaha... For the presentation i took up most of the major roles, especially playing a comical ah lian housewife. That was where our Singlish jargon came in, and I sent everyone else laughing fit to burst.
I was so happy that I danced all the way to the canteen for lunch, and all the way back to class again.
And... today I met so many GB seniors that I almost went nuts! I missed them so much because we hadn't talked much since the camp. During recess I saw char, who's really prominent because of her gangling, thin legs. When we saw each other we were both standing right outside a stall, screaming OXYMORON! like maniacs. Then hilary came to find me and it was like "huh? hilary so much shorter than me now?" and so it's kind of hard to believe that she's in sec three. 302... So there we were, queueing up to buy burgers and bee hoon and teasing each other and things like that. Hmmm I shall write to hilly!!!!!!!!! hahaha... anyway she suspects that I'm writing to her so she said that she's expecting my letter... ok....
Well, I've finished most of my homework, I'll be getting my autographed 5566 CD next week and.....

Greatest Saturday!

Wow I'm feeling energized by the house mass dance rehearsal this morning! we danced like over ten times and we jumped and bended so much that I find it difficult to type and play trills on the piano... coz my wrist hurts terribly. but i did have a lot of fun, nevertheless.
Mom and Dad took me to some Garden Hotel and my dad went to the gents to pee. you know guys pee in the urinals side by side right? Well, Dad was peeing beside some fat fat guy. At first he didnt realise that it was the actor in zhou wu yu le wang, Moses Lim. But when he found out he ran out of the toilet and whispered excitedly, "the chilangka bodoh guy is in the toilet!" OH i SEE... So the three of us stood outside the gents casually, waiting for moses to come out. He is SO SO FAT. and he tied his hair into a greasy ponytail. yucks... Anyway we said hi to him and he said hi back, then he went into a restaurant, probably to gorge himself with heaps of food so he'd become EVEN fatter... hee hee hee... In the end, after visiting two hotels that served expensive ala-carte lunches, we ate at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, which is SUPER NEAR raffles. Since the restaurant hadn't opened yet, we made reservations and sat by the large glass windows, reading newpapers on the long u-bench. I saw my dear CHEEKO-KIA gwen walking by and I dashed out to meet her... boy was she shocked. oh, btw, my friends mavis and gwen and I started a CHEEKO FAMILY TRADITION. Mavis is the CHEEKO-PEH, I'm the CHEEKO-SOH and gwen is our little cheeko kid. What a happy family! hahaha....
Yeah and I saw tabby marching past (she practically marches all the time, being our sergeant)....
We had a really nice buffet lunch and met many famous people there. We saw this big-shot sultan's son, who is a u-grad, and this news reader who had been jailed for maid abuse (idiot lah i hate maid abuse). AHA! maybe I should be like hermione and start SPEW... no, not SPEW, SPMW!!! instead of Elfish welfare, change it to Maids' welfare! hahaha... I am strongly against maid abuse. hoo hah!!!
I ate so much that my culottes became tighter and both mom and dad had stomachaches from overeating... my goodness, the bill was horrific. $125 for three persons!!! but it was totally worth it.
And... about the HONEY song... pardon me ok, I don't quite like cyndi as much as 5566 or WILBERRR or dong liang but I kind of like the HONEY song.... but Cyndi's voice is squeakier than SHE's selina! that's saying something, by the way. =p ok gotta go, enjoy the HONEY okay? i noe i will!

FRIDAY!

Whoopee it's friday! finally, a well-deserved break from hectic school life! I feel like I'm on top of the world. My diet is kind of sucessful. I've been eating nothing but muesli bars for recess coz after I eat I'd run off to look for my GB seniors... they're awfully nice! Yesterday I met sabby and I really scared her out of her wits... and I met char and liying and... on a higher note, DOT!!!!!!! yay... practically went berserk during lunch time. dot was like eating with her friends behind a pillar and my GB friend and I actually hid behind the pillar... I was going nuts behind that pillar when dot noticed me and she said HIYEE!!! and i freaked out! ok, I was flinging my sweater around, wringing it around my arms. then I met dot again and then we talked about some GB things and then we both left... yes, I really really had gone bananas.
And another happy thing... SNOOPY! I've given him a christian name (coz he doesnt haf one) so... now his full name is: cynthia. lolz... muahahaha, I'm cheeky!!! yesterday he was just furious with my class bcoz we were gossiping during his lesson, and he didnt know what was going on so he got kind of angry. ON WEDNESDAY... During GB, I spotted snoopy walking by, wearing that usual blur-sotong look on his expressionless face. I dont know what got into me that day, but I stuck my head and hands out of the window and greeted him, flinging my arms about frantically. then instead of going to the staff room, he walked to the door of the room I was in, and took a peep b4 going back to his staff room again. OMG i didnt expect him to do that so I panicked and my face was extremely livid. on a happier note, snoopy was MUCH happier during English lesson today, probably bcoz we were smiling and behaving beautifully... Suddenly he just bent down, squinted his eyes so much until his glasses fell askew and stared at my friend and I as if we were strange creatures. then he resumed his lesson. SNoopY is fREaky. We were doing this comprehension about a dog. and when we found out that the dog's name was SNOOPER, we all burst out into paroxysms of laughter and poor old snoopy just stood there, looking at us quizzically and giving us the "duh duh" eye-rolling look. In the end, he just laughed along with us without finding out why. hahahaha...
and I dont have much homework to do! but I gotta go do some reading now, so byeeeeeeeeE!
