yay! last day of sch for term 2!
-shoot.yesterday was a hectic and pissing day until MEP concert started.
sometimes really get frustrated with the class...
Why do we have to do our chinese PT with people who live near us? This arrangement caused so much trouble yesterday... Everyone was havoc.
Poor shevaun.
Shevaun's really a very responsible class chairperson and I hope that everyone will try and put themselves in her shoes. It's not easy managing a whole class, and shevaun's really doing her best. So can everyone please stop giving shevaun and the rest of exco a whole load of stress?
Shevaun, dont give up!
haha.
MEP concert Capriccio rocked!
All the performers- the harp player, mich and seryee, rachel and dee and pan, are all so PRO-ded! I stare at all of you in wonder. *-*
Our item was right after the 20-minute intermission, and everyone was chattering nervously until the people in front gave the drummers the cue to start.
BOOM BOOM BOOM. SHAKASHAKABOOM.
All the sec 2 MEPers (except zan, jingwei and annie who were away at OM) marched in very stately (and clumsily??!!). I caught a glimpse of my parents and dear agogo as I passed them on the way to the makeshift stage.
TOM TOM. TOM TOM.
Valsoh clashes the cymbals so loudly that I must've been hard of hearing for a few days, especially after the gruelling rehearsals.
So basically, the sec 2 item was a success. Too bad we didn't get to play Tico Tico, that was one of my favourites other than colonel bogey! And then, we marched back outside.
THE HIGHLIGHTS OF CAPRICCIO:
1) The people! Thanks jo, kimblee, xuanwei, diyamiriqilyna chillyna aqilah, nards (my twinnie!) and sujin and UMMU GRACIE SHONG for coming! Aqi, nads and I spent the whole intermission hugging and commenting about people's ties. :D I LOVE YA SPiCEBABES!
Gracie was so cute! And finally I got to hug gracie after such a loooooong time! A good way to end the fun fun times we spent together sitting at our row. AWW i'll miss you gracie!
Did you see sujin and someone else who went along with her?
OOOOHLALA.
2) Bean and cookie and mushmaha. and FRANCES JIE!
Celine chia you naughty bean! How can you influence my dear daughter valsoh to become a cheekopeh like you? Do you know how much sacrifice willette and I made to bring her up in hope that she would become a woman of substance?
Now she's Woman of Celine.
Cebean and valsoh invented a new kung-fu move! It's so profound, yet so simplistic at the same time. Kayleigh and I did the "Today, I saw AHEM AHEM" handsigns. We did it on michelle and frances and even frances understands it! But michelle still doesn't get it.. that's for us to know and you to find out, michy. (not michelle soh lar!)
Oh, and cebean, willette, frances (now more commonly known as FEN-JIE), valsoh and I played 205 (ER4 LING2 WU5), a good old childhood hand game which involves a lot of slapping. We played jikopa and willette kept winning. ARH.
3) Audience Hunting.
Pan and I sneaked off to the other side of the viewing gallery at the top of the hall, where we got a super bird's eye view of every single member of the audience. We were trying to look for jo, kimblee, xuanwei and kemama. Thanks pan!!! <3<3<3
4) THE BEST PART OF THEM ALL- THE STAGE FALLS DOWN!
Just as all the sec one and two MEPers shuffled into the hall to perform the last item, mass singing, the flimsy stage gave way. Unfortunately, valsoh and I happened to be standing on THAT PARTICULAR STAGE when it suddenly gave way with a loud crack. The audience was laughing away and we were just stunned. :o
In the end, the funkaye momma ms khoo told valsoh and I to stand on the very same stage which had given way. It was still slanting down vertically, and you can imagine how hard it was for the two of us and the others behind to keep our balance on that stage. The sec ones behind us kept shaking and bouncing on the stage, which made it rock up and down. THAT'S NOT NICE! Well, mass singing was nice too! I got to sing in soprano one (and to this very day, I still can't understand how I managed to get into sop one.)
