seeds

YAY hello! RGS Book Day was a blast! Our class was kind of enthu and people had CHOPSTICKS IN THEIR HAIR. I donned a very baggy japanese suit which belongs to my dad and stuck a furry long moustache! Thanks shevaun for the cool sherlock holmes hat (which matched my outfit perfectly)! Even the teachers seemed pretty amused with the class decor because ms zhang attempted to hurl ah pan's fragile little japanese tea cups and komomo was playing with the golden cloth which we draped on top of the front door. And the poor cloth was just hanging innocently at the door... haha X)
Actually wrote this poem last week. it was totally last minute work although the idea had been lingering in my brain long before I started writing it. It's for a poetry slam workshop (CAP stuff hurhur) and I was rushing to submit a poem to recite during the workshop.

If anyone can guess the TRUE MEANING of this poem then at least i'll be more assured that i'm not such a bad poet.

A farmer sowed some seeds one day,
Upon the loamy field
He hoped that when the time was ripe
More juicy fruits he'd yield.

The farmer treated all his seeds
with tender loving care,
And soon the seedlings began to sprout
The ground was no longer bare.

Violent torrential storms came,
The seedlings clung tightly to the ground
for they knew the farmer was near,
They would be safe and sound.

Through all the violent storms and winds
The seedlings stood strong,
The hopeful farmer never ceased
to care for them all day long.

As time passed the seedlings grew
and lo and behold,
The farmer's plants had bore their first fruits
Down his cheeks tears of joy rolled.

The farmer had treated all his seeds
with tender loving care,
For he knew that one day,
Fruits of his labour he would bear.

now guess who the farmer and the seeds are.
