evergreen
I just remembered something.Wednesday was the most fun geog lesson in the whole world.
mrs koh had just started on a new topic- Biomes. and she was teaching us about the world climate and how the climate affected natural vegetation.
HERE'S HOW THE FUN BEGAN.
mrs koh began talking about Coniferous trees and how they were EVERGREEN.
mrs koh: Anybody knows what "Evergreen" is?
someone: always green lor.
a while later...
mrs koh: Now, when I mention the term "Evergreen", what else comes to mind?
no one says anything.
until..
jingwei: Means they don't shed their leaves!
mrs koh: yes, she's on the right track!
here's the funny funny part.
mrs koh: has anyone of you experienced HAIR LOSS before?
everyone: yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrr..
mrs koh: let's say after your bath, or when you finish combing your hair, you'll find a LOOOT of hair dropped on the floor, right?
everyone: yeah yeah yeah!
mrs koh: BUT. let's say you hair never drop. Then suddenly, ALL YOUR HAIR DROP IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST.
mrs koh seems to have gained her momentum. she carries on in a jest.
mrs koh: Then, later, ALL GROW BACK IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.
hilarious.
mrs koh: That's what i mean by evergreen, the Coniferous trees don't shed all their leaves in one go, they shed them in different periods of time! Our hair also never drop so drastically right? So what do you call our hair??
everyone: EVERBLACK!
me: no no no! Mrs koh's hair is EVERBROWN!
so the moral of the story is...
PURPLE IS A CRAZY COLOUR.
