Marrybrown opened
There's this new fast food restaurant called Marrybrown. It's a stone's throw away from my house, so my parents and I went there for dinner last friday. It's a place with a really nice ambience. And the unique thing about it is that some of the chairs are actually swings dangling a metre above ground. So many little kids were begging their parents to take them there. Of course, I'm not one of them.We sat at a normal table with NORMAL chairs and mom went to order our food. I think Marrybrown's trying to sell a combination of KFC, McDonald's and hawker food. That's nice. I had fried chicken and a fish and cheese burger. Yum....... I glanced around the room. There were SO MANY little children and SO MANY BALLOONS! OH NO.... Little children love to carry balloons and do really stupid things with them... And there was one example, sitting right behind me. A very young toddler was clutching a huge balloon and was banging it against the floor. Soon.... BAAAAANG! I jumped up immediately. I nearly dropped my burger. I was breathing heavily and unsteadily, shuddering with fear. I HATE BALLOONS. I HATE LITTLE KIDS WHO PLAY WITH BALLOONS. I was so scared I almost screeched in the restaurant. I think I could have died. Silly, abysmally foolish child, I thought. I almost lost my cool and was even thinking of walking out of the restaurant. But I decided everyone has different fears so I stayed, looking cautiously at ANYONE who was carrying a balloon. My left ear hurt terribly. It was as if my left ear drum was gradually splintering. I felt so deaf then.
Other than that horrible balloon incident, I was pretty happy. The food was absolutely superb and I guess I should take the rest of 5566 there one day.
... hopefully there won't be anymore balloons.
